Pumpkin Patch 2012

We have an annual pumpkin patch trip with our friends Riley, Carson and Presley.

The weather was perfect!

Vacay for the Parents

Cole and I got to take our first ever adult-only vacation since having kids!

That is CRAZY!!!

We went on a cruise to Cozumel and Progresso.

I hardly took any pictures with my camera, so I will have to do a phone picture post later.

Cole insisted on taking this picture:

He played and sang like Elvis every night.

I thought it was really funny one night he said, "I am not going to sing and Elvis Presley song." 

Then proceeded to sing How Great Thou Art. 

I know Elvis did a version of that song, but it's not HIS song!

Why take pictures of us, when I can get lots of towel art pictures!

Hopefully we won't wait another 8 years before going on an adult only vacation.

Flag Football

Coleman has one more football game left for his season.

He has done such a great job!

He has made touchdowns, hiked the ball, and pulled flags!

He asks that you only cheer for his team name, and not for him.

I ignore this, because I am that crazy mom that screams during the game.

I am not the mom in the chair.

I pace and have to know what is going on.

 This is not a great picture, but it shows Coleman's ready stance.

It looks like he is about to do the splits.

Coleman's first day of school!

The first week he only goes for half a day.

He had such a great day.

Of course this boy chose Whataburger for dinner!

Clay's Bible Fellowship Class

I have been Clay's Bible Fellowship teacher for the past couple of months.

She does a sketch-a-day to get her creative juices flowing.

My sweet Creative girl chose to do stamping for her first entry.

She is there behind all that hair. 

 Whatever sister does, brother must also do.

He chose football stamps.

 I saw this idea on Pinterest as well, a family tree.

I guess my creativity isn't original:)

Coleman's Meet the Teacher

On Thursday, August 30th it was Coleman's turn to meet the teacher for pre-k!

He actually already knows his teachers:

Ms. Trenda (Chloe's pre-k teacher)

And Ms. Janae (his music teacher from last year).

Coleman is super excited about school this year.

I know this is going to be such a great year for him!

First Football Game

Coleman had his first Upwards Football game.

This little boy looks a bit like our boy.

This is a bit of practice before the big game.

At this point it was sprinkling.

 The rain started to pick up a bit.

 They all run through the tunnel.

Coleman was a not a fan of the smoke!

 I never get tired of National Anthem pics!

Then the thunder started and our game got called at half-time.

Our sweet number 5 scored a touchdown!!!!!
