Christmas with Grandparents

Another Christmas celebration,
this time it was on Christmas morning at MawMaw and Bubba's house.

Chloe and Coleman opening their stockings:
Daddy helping Clay open his:

Again I am so disappointed with the amount of pictures I took!
My mom started last year to get the kids three things each.
I like this because they get three good things and don't get too overwhelmed with things.
All the grandkids got a warm-up suit and books.
For the third gift Clay got his duffle bag, so now all the kids have their own bag.
Chloe got a doll and a doggie.
Coleman got a silky shirt and a Bop-it ball game.
I guess they got a little more than the three gifts this year.

The next day we went to Cole's families house.
I am sad I didn't get any pictures, I think I was holding Clay most of the time.

We were spoiled again for another Christmas celebration.
Clay got a very cute race car speedway toy, it has turned out to be a huge hit!
Coleman got a warm-up suit and a bike.
Chloe got an art set, pants, and some shirts.
The two older kids got fishing poles from Gigi and Papa.
Coleman got football gloves from them as well, and Chloe got glittery shoes.
Clay got a cute doggy towel.

We have way toooooo much stuff now!
Oh, wait there will be more because some one is about to be one!

Christmas at our house

Christmas morning at our house Chippy left a goodbye note.
Yes, our elf on the shelf's name was Chippy.
My kids are super original and had to name him the same name as the elf in the movie.
Chippy motivated Chloe out of bed every school morning!
A quick pic before I let the kids come out:
Santa brought some gifts!

The kids coming to check things out:

Chloe got a doll, she doesn't seem to like her at all!
Coleman has been asking for a guitar with a strap on it for almost an entire year.
I tried to see if he would change his mind through out the year, but he always remembered!
I love this picture of how excited Coleman is about this watch he found in his stocking.
He truly gets excited about everything!
You would think we don't have a million watches in our house by his facial expression:
Chloe was excited that Santa brought her new gloves,
now she has about 500 pair of gloves.
Both kids got harmonicas, and they sound pretty good.

Clay's Santa gift was this little phone.
We were amazed that he sat there for awhile and played with it.
He will now hold it up to his ear and talk,
this he must have learned from seeing his daddy on the phone!

Coleman's stocking:
Chloe's stocking;
Clay's stocking:
And there my pictures come to an abrupt end.
Why didn't I take any more pictures???
Super annoyed with myself!

The kids also each got an art set, Color wonder sets, Chloe got a craft kit, Clay got a football and Coleman got a Car's play dough set.
We had a great little family Christmas!

The Night Before

Christmas comes a little early when we go out of town for the actual day.
The night before our family little Christmas we watched some Christmas shows, and then needed to go to bed so Santa could work his magic!

Every year I make an ornament with the kids' handprints
and they each get an ornament from me and my mom. Clay got a burlap football,
Coleman got a basketball and Chloe got the reindeer.

Coleman's Christmas Program

Coleman had his preschool Christmas program on December 13th.
He knew his two songs so well!
He sang them at home all the time.

The big day came, and he got shy!
I predicted this, he is my timid one.
Ms. Krista helped him on stage. Coleman loves Ms. Krista!!!!
At first, I didn't let him have brown mimi,
but when he started melting down I quickly gave it to him.

At the end he sang a little.
Such a sweet boy!

Chloe's solo

Our church had their Christmas Program on December 11th.
The children got to sing one song during the program and our sweet Chloe had a solo.
Chloe brought out her "stage" persona and was quite the ham.
She did great during the solo.
After the solo, the kids stayed up on stage and Chloe started her performance.
She was hamming it up!

Clay's baby dedication

We had Clay's baby dedication on December 18th.
I feel bad that he was almost a year old before we did the dedication.
His grandparents and great grandparents got to come.

During the dedication Chloe could see herself on the television screen and started making faces at her self. As usual, she was quite the ham on the stage.

For a little token for Clay's dedication he received his own Bible.
I had everyone highlight their favorite verse for him.

We love you sweet Clay, and we dedicate our lives to teaching you about Jesus!

LAST basketball practice

We finished our season undefeated,
but you know they don't keep score!

At our last practice Coach gave everyone a trophy.

We had a great season, our last game we scored 56 points!

Chloe was such a great defensive player, she loved to try and steal the ball!

Bobble head trophies!
Even our little boy got a trophy!!!

Gingerbread houses

A little gingerbread house making with our friends.
One dad really worked hard!

Happy Birthday Holly!
We needed to do a little celebrating with some Smores Pizza!

Snack Helper

Coleman was snack helper last week.
This boy loves to cook, and so we try to do something that he can help make.
This was the perfect little snack.

Also, please note Coleman's outfit-silky shorts and shirt.
Every day he wears silky shorts. If we have to go some where he goes immediately to his room and puts his silky shorts on when we get back.
He may be a little obsessed!

Someone was a little mad that he couldn't help.
Rudolph and Elf noses.
The cutest little Santa Snack Helper!

Eleven Months

The past 11 months have flown by!
This little guy is standing, pulling himself up and continues to be all over the place.
He says Mommy and Daddy (well not quite that clear).
He eats lots of different types of food, he seems to really like mac and cheese.
Finally, he is sleeping through the night (still in his burrito)!

He is super sweet and definitely already has hero worship for his daddy, brother and sister.

We love you sweet Clay!
