19 Months Old!

Cooper is 19 months old and all of a sudden he’s exploding with new words. He’s trying all kinds of words, even though he’s still not saying them clearly or stringing more than one together, he’s really starting to form all kinds of sounds. He can say all the letters in the alphabet and reading his letter book is his favorite thing to do right now! He loves playing with his letter magnets on the fridge too! I think he’s really impressed with himself. I know we are!!!

He’s now eating by himself. He wants to do all the spoon work by himself and it’s fun and messy. He’s doing a great job though!

The biggest problem we have this month is his video’s. He LOVES them. And is obsessed with them! When we shut them off he totally melts down. Guess we’ll have to do something about that soon – yikes! But he sure does like them and is learning a lot. His favorites are Elmo’s World, animals and brainy baby ABC’s and shapes.

Daddy’s back from his trip to St. Thomas! Daddy got snowed in, and couldn’t come home for 2 night. Cooper missed him so much and was so happy to see him home.

Testing on the potty, even though we’ve given up, we still let him try every once and a while.

Cooper loves doing up buckles. And he’s so good at it! If he spots a buckle, he’s sure to stop and do it up!

And he’s still a frequent flusher too. He LOVES to flush the toliet and hang out in the bathroom still.

Aunt Terri and Ashley came for a visit and brought Cooper a new book and an Olympic Coin set! He had a great day hanging out with them.

Hurray! The snow has melted enough to wear a lighter jacket and cooper’s rainboots! He’s been waiting all year to wear these FROG rainboots! Thank goodness they still fit right now, even if they are getting small. He LOVES them!
