Christmas Eve is full of tradition for our family! Ususally, Brian takes the boys skiing while Ali and I finish up last minute Christmas gift stuff and go to lunch with Brandy garner, but it weas snowing this year. Brian didn't want to waste his ski passes on a snow day, so they stayed home.

We spent the day together getting things ready. We always go to Grammy and Grandpa's house to get our new "Grammy Jammies" . This year they were flannel bottoms and white T-shirts for all the boys (matching, of course), and coordinating night gowns for the girls! They turned out perfect! The girls looked darling! Gram did a great job!!

Then we were off to Great Grandma DeVries, for the annual Christmas Eve snacks and games party! This year was so funny! They had a Tree decorating contest! Jakey got to be the tree for our team. He won the prize! Michael, Gary, Alycia and Nate did the decorating!! It was butt-kicking funny!!!! The star on top was the best!! Brayden and Allie were afraid of Jake. They both stayed on laps to stay away from his scary face!

We headed home and let the boys open one present....then time to wait for Santa! What a night!

Allie got a new Christmas dress. She picked her own dress when we took her shopping. We spent 5 hours at South Town Mall on Friday and she was in HEAVEN!!! She is a born shopper! I think it scared her dad! She got excited about clothes and insisted on picking out her own things! She did a great job with her choices! She is such a sweetheart! I am truly blessed to be her mommy! It always breaks my heart to hear other mothers say that their daughters are brats! I must be lucky! Allie is a doll! She is my baby and I hope she continues to be the sweetheart she is right now! I want to be her best friend and I always want to be close to her! I ADORE her!!! She is beautiful and hilarious!
