(picture coming soon)
Most people don't realize that large pieces of coral, which have been painted brown and attached to the skull by common wood screws, can make a child look like a deer."
Jack Handy
Allie is obsessed with Reindeer...
She makes us call her "Cupid"
I took her the dollar store and got her a pair of antlers and she's been wearing
them non-stop for 3 days!
Seriously, NON-STOP!!!
She yells at us if we call her Allie and wants Jake to answer to
"Rudolph" and Nate is "Comet"!
I LOVE Christmas with little kids!
She really gets into the magical part of it!!!

SomE FuNniES

This actually gives me an idea....

(Becky....you thinking the same thing?)

Better not touch!!! You'll be paying for a funeral AND the $200 fine!!! Who could afford it?

Fast and Furious on a budget....

He TOTALLY got that idea from me....
I tried that once, it was a fruitful day! People will always feel bad for you if your family got killed by Ninjas!!!

Sad...pretty sure this was his last day at work

Are you supposed to hold your company's ice in your hand while you whack it? I'm pretty sure they'd prefer no ice....

Good advice

Just what EVERY kitchen needs...a gadget to cut perfectly shaped butter pats.

I'm always SO embarrassed when I have to serve butter to company with a knife,

it's always so sloppy!

TEAMWORK!

SWEET!!! Limo's here!!!

If you know my big brother, you'll know why we just ordered these favors for his 40th next year! Oh...I can hardly wait!! He's gonna love it!

Summer project...

Brian and Nate have been busy for a couple of months with a project that has turned out to be pretty impressive... They decided to build a terrarium after attending a Reptile Expo last fall. They built the whole thing this summer and I think it is worth showing off!!! Last month they finally were able to add the last big feature...dart frogs. They have 5 yellow and black little frogs and they are actually pretty neat to watch! I NEVER thought we'd be the family with an entire zoo in our home, but I'm starting to get used to it...

I'm so glad that they have such a good time together and enjoy so many of the same things! It has been fun to see them learn so much from a project that was intended to distract Nate from drama (and to satisfy his dad's curiosity about how HE would put together all the different components and make it look good).

Sadly, I would be willing to give up a few aquariums for a terrarium of my own...I love all the plants and the fact that Brian doesn't have to clean them out like an aquarium!

Uncle Michael's Ca"vin"

Lily riding the zip line... Jake and Brayden are buddies
Michael is a rock star...he REALLY likes to sing!

Baby Jax smiling at anyone who will talk to him! And all the competitors at the table for the battle!

Bri rockin the bass...and Jake on the zip line!

They FINALLY convinced my little chicken to try the zip line and there was no looking back! She loved it!!! Allie and Brayden were serious when it was their turn to be the Rock Band stars!

ThE SWeEteST ThINg!!!!

AAAHHHHH!!!!

So much more time in one of these....

NO MORE MORE TIME THROWING ANY OF THESE!!!!

I FINALLY quit the paper and got a new job! I start doing Patient Registration at St Marks Hospital AGAIN on November 30!
THANKS BRANDY GARNER!!!!!
I worked there for 4 years during both my pregnancies with Nate and Jake but had to quit to feed the baby who wouldn't take a bottle!!!
I will have to work out some babysitting but I was on the EDGE of MelTdOwN!!!
I am SO relieved! My route had gotten so out of control! I was throwing close to 700 papers on Sunday (in tears) and NOT getting anywhere near the 7 AM deadline!
It's kind of crazy because most people think that they are the only people who need their paper early, but with 500 customers your bound to get a few hundred with that same thought!
I am thankful that I had a job during such scary economic times but I am SO HAPPY to not have to make myself sick, driving in the middle of the night, during storms, stressing out, trying to remember who gets what paper and how many of each they want...YUCK!!
Long story, short...Tip your carrier!

Trick-or-treat...

Allie went trick-or-treating with her buddy Casey Kimball
She had been calling him her boyfriend until her dad told her that she couldn't say ANY boy was her boyfriend until she's 16! Now any time he says it, she shoots him down! That's the way to do it Allie!!! Boys are FRIENDS, but not BOY FRIENDS!!!

Is that Cruel la or Elvis? Jeanie Earl, you crack me up!!!
Who wouldn't want THIS lady as your 2nd grade teacher?

There's Elizabeth, McKenna and Savannah Wise...
Allie is friends with Savannah, she's a peanut!
Allie always looks GIGANTIC standing next to Savannah!

It's the GREAT Punkin!!!
This is Wendi Kimball, she's Casey's mom and one of my friends
The kids LOVED being able to trick-or-treat at Teacher Wendy's
She's pretty popular with the 4 year old crowd in the neighborhood!
What fun!!
Our boys are too cool (they think) to just hang around the Berry Patch with their lame parents and baby sister, they hooked up with a big group of boys and hit the hills...
WAY TOO MUCH CANDY!!!
