A few months ago I chopped my hair! I felt like since I had a brand new baby and a brand new life (pretty much!), I needed a brand new do too.... I never was very good at change!

Lily's Blessing

The girl is Official! Erick blessed Lily in our ward in July.

My parents and Breya flew in for the special day and Erick's parents, grandparents, and sibs were able to come too. My mom made Lily her beautiful dress and she only spit up on it a few times!

Proud Papa

Lily and I went to visit Erick at the fire house one afternoon when he was going to be working for a few days. I know he misses his girls when he is gone!

Mom! Help!

We are lucky that Erick's parents could come see us in the hospital and my parents and little sister came a few days after Lily was born. I was so happy to have a couple extra moms around!

Let's Start at the Very Beginning

I have this slight obsession with things being in order and so I decided that if I was really going to blog I had to start at a beginning and I'm beginning with Lily!

Two days old

We got to leave the hospital when Lily was two days old. We had to stay longer because I had this weird numb leg thing. The neurologist, OB, and two anesthesiologists came to check it out and decided it was just from pushing for three hours! Lily was so tiny in her car seat and I noticed an extra cautious driver in our frontseat!

Welcome Baby Girl

Here she is! Little Lily weighs 8 pounds and 9 ounces and is 20 inches long. We can't believe she is actually here. What an amazing miracle! I am scared to take her home because then it means we are in charge with no nurses! We can't wait to show Lily her new house and her new room that her daddy painted for her.
