Bragging rights?!

I thought i would show everyone what my mom and i made for me to give Tys for Christmas...What do ya give the guy who has everything?! This is what we came up with...It is a blanket made out of all of his old high school baseball shirts. I think it turned out AMAZING and he LOVES it so that makes me way happy! We decided to make it at the last minute so i think it turned out great considering the short time we had. Here are some pictures of it and only a few that i took on Christmas. We had a great Christmas and we're so thankful for everything we have and most of all for our families. We love you guys!!

James Plumbing christmas party!

Monday night we went to the Christmas party at Iron Gate Grill. It was so much fun! The food was way good; we had chicken, prime rib, way good salads, and cheesecake that was to die for! We played a ton of games, and Tyson and i won alot of fun things like a basket full of hot chocolate, a Cocomotion, a movie, a blanket, and mugs. We also won a cute little sign that says HoHoHo. We played a game where we had to make a reindeer out of nylons...as you can see from the pictures it was way funny!

Thanksgiving weekend

Thanksgiving was great! Minus the eight pounds that i gained! :( It's so much fun to get together with family and eat a great meal! This year we went to my mom's house for lunch/dinner or whatever ya wanna call it. It was delicious but i ate way way too much. After my moms we went over to grandma james' house for thanksgiving night left overs...yummy but i was still way too full to eat!



I was really bad this week at taking pictures, this is the only one we got. Better luck next time right!

So Friday morning I went on our annual black friday shopping trip with Mindi and Jen, i can't get enough of this...it's so much fun!! There were so many people out this year, it was crazy! I swear we went to every store twice! After getting up at three then shopping our little hearts out we rewarded ourselves with breakfast and Angies..way good! Then i went home, showered, then Tyson and i ventured out shopping again...I'm all finished with my christmas shopping minus getting Tysons!! yay!
Saturday we woke up early and went shopping to tai pan...overwhelming but love the store! I didn't get much just a few small decorations, then i went and helped my mom put up her cute christmas tree while tyson went to the football game. After that we went to dinner then to the basketball game! It was great to have such a long weekend i can't wait till christmas break!

On saturday Tyson and I got to babysit Hunter while mom and dad went to dinner and to see Twilight! It was so much fun!! He is such a great baby! He was so happy the whole time and so much fun to play with. How couldn't you love someone this dang cute! We also made some pumpkin cookies and sugar cookies while we were tending him, what a fun night it was!

This past weekend my whole family went down to our house in St. George to celebrate my moms birthday! It was so much fun! It was nice to be able to relax and hang out with the family for the weekend. We went shopping, ate ALOT, played games, and just hung out! Oh ya and we got my mom a wii for the house, she loves it! We also got her wii fit and it is alot of fun! Thanks for the fun weekend family! And thanks mom once again for all you do for me, i love you so much and wouldn't know what to do without you, you're amazing!!

Halloween Weekend!

So tomorrow I'm headed to St. George with Tyson and Chance to move stuff into the new house, my parents have been there since Wednesday trying to move stuff in and we decided to go down and help. I'm so excited!! :) It'll be alot of fun setting up the house and way nice to get away from Logan for the weekend...i like taking breaks from crazy life for a few days! I'll post some pictures of the house all decorated and cute when i get back! Last night we carved pumpkins with the James', it was a blast and we ate yummy soup and bread bowls too..my favorite! I'll post the pictures of our sweet pumpkins too after i get home! I hope you all have an AMAZING and SAFE Halloween!

Parade, Game, and Pumpkin Walk!

My Saturday was quite eventful compared to normal! I enjoyed it! I went to the homecoming parade this morning with the James clan, it was really fun but way long and kinda chilly! Then we headed up to the game, wow Aggies....what a sad loss, i thought they had it! Saturday night Tys and i went to the pumpkin walk with Jared and Chelsea...There were a ton of way cute things! My favorite was the Noah's ark patch and the one that was of Brent (man on bike who rides around Logan waving), which my 4th grade teachers made, who knew they still even lived around here, they were the best twin teachers ever! I loved the pumpkin walk even though it was freezing! We got some cookies and string cheese when we walked out of the pumpkin patch...pretty interesting choice of food for a pumpkin walk! After the pumpkin walk we went to Jared and Chelsea's house and played games, it was a lot of fun and nice to catch up with the newlyweds!

Well Dad, Chance, Tyson and I went out deer hunting this morning at about seven, it was freezing riding the four wheelers! So we were driving for about ten minutes and we saw four deer up on the hill, 3 were bucks! Tyson took the first shot and missed, chance took the second and missed. They ran up the hill so we chased and chance shot the first one he saw at the top. He got it! Tyson didn't end up getting one this morning so we went back out this afternoon. This time my mom came with us too. We left around four and spotted two bucks right off, Tys shot and killed a two point his first shot...about 230 yards! Yay! Right when he shot the poor little deer dropped right to the ground. It was way cool to watch him shoot his first deer ever, he was so excited! I'm way proud of him! We had so much fun! Thanks for taking us dad!

Hogle Zoo!

Yay! finally something fun to blog about! Today i went to Hogle Zoo with my mom, Mindi, Hunter, Tracen, Trevor and Tyson. It was quite fun, but near as fun as when i was a kid, but still fun to see the animals! My favorite were the monkeys and the elephants, they're huge and their skin needs some major lotion! I was way sad that they didn't have the polar bears there this time, they're waiting to add them until they get more funds to build them a new place to live. We had a blast and were really tired by the time we left the zoo. After we went to the zoo we went to lunch at Ruby River, yummy! Then we went to the Gateway to do a little shopping and get some chocolate! I had a caramel apple with white chocolate and butterfinger pieces...it was delicious! We went to Target on our way home, i love that store, it has everything and lots of cute things! This was a way fun day to spend my day off of work and school, thanks for taking us ma! Tys hates snakes, so i made him be in a picture with one, look at the size of this thing!

Not such a big hit....

Tonight i went with the family to the crack (Cracker Barrel), it's been closed for a long time and has new owners...I'm sure you all know. Anyways, i wasn't impressed with the food and service at all...maybe i was expecting too much...but defiantly not as good as Alan's food! I had prime rib, mashed potatoes and veggies. The salad was delicious but i wasn't too happy with everything else. Only 4 items on the menu doesn't cut it for me! Crack is really nice inside and not stinky at all anymore. Maybe i need to give it a few months till they get everything in order and I'll go there and give it another try...but for now, not a chance! Let me know if you had a better experience!

Yay! new car!

This past week i got a jeep! I needed a four wheel drive vehicle to get back and forth to school in the winter because i'm a baby when it comes to driving in the snow, especially when i don't have four wheel drive. I'm not really looking forward to paying alot more for gas but it'll be ok because i needed it! Thanks mom and dad! I love it! :)



p.s. My white 95 corolla is for sale if anyone is interested! It gets way good gas milage...usually 35-40 miles per gallon!

Weekend fun!

So this past weekend i was able to go hunting with my dad. He was guiding Vick who was hunting deer, elk, and buffalo! Vick was able to get an elk on Saturday night..i couldn't go then because i was busy cooking for another group of people but Sunday morning we went up looking for a buffalo...no luck..just saw alot of elk. Sunday evening we went up again to look and we found them! Vick has shot a buffalo before and just likes the meat so he asked my dad if he wanted to shoot it cause he never has and Vick only wanted the meat. It was the coolest thing i have ever watched...We hiked up to the top of the hill they were on to see if we would get close enough, we got to the top and they were right there about 100 yards away! It was really kind of scary..i thought they would charge! But they didn't, thank heavens! He killed it in one shot and it fell to the ground so fast! I watch the buffalo get gutted, and get hauled down on the tractor. It was so cool watching it get gutted...you wouldn't believe how big of a stomach those things have!

For Sale!

Tyson is selling his truck if anyone is interested! It's a 2007 Nissan Frontier. It has 13,000 miles on it and gets great gas milage! He is selling it for $18,900, way good deal!

Never thought you'd see this? Me either!

I know, weird to see Tyson riding a horse huh! Lately Chance has been begging Tyson to go ride horses with him but Tys hasn't ever been wearing pants and had a ton of time to go until today! I thought he would be too chicken to ride a horse, but i'm wrong...he loves to ride horses he just never has anyone to go with cause i hate them. Chance took him for quite a long ride, and now he can't wait to go hunting on the horse in a few weeks.

Busy busy busy....

It's been forever since I've updated my blog, weird! I'm usually really good, but not lately! This past week has been really really hard! It's way hard and emotional moving out, starting a new job, and starting college all in a week or so! I love living out on my own, it's a blast! But i get homesick alot too. My job is great, i have so much fun with those kids! I have new funny stories to tell people all the time. School has been really hard this week, i dunno if i just need to get adjusted to the college life and new studying habits or what...it's been a challenge but i think it'll get better! I'll update more when i have good stuff to share!

House update...

Yay!! My parents got the house in St. George! After waiting and waiting to hear back from the bank we finally did on monday night and they accepted our offer, now they only have to close on the house! We are soooo excited and can't wait to go down and make it into our home! It'll be so much fun! I'll post some pictures after we go down and set it all up!

New job and moving out!

This week i got a job working at Nibley elementary as an aide working in the special needs classroom. It's pretty much the same thing i did during the summer but now its M-F in the afternoons, I'm so excited, it'll be alot of fun! I've also decided that I'm going to move out for the school year. I think it'll be alot easier with school and work and with gas so expensive it'll be better driving to school from Logan then from Paradise. I'm moving into Tyson's grandma's old house with Ashley (Tyson's sister) and two of her current roommates. It'll be so much fun! I can't wait, I'm planning on moving out Friday. My parents are a bit sad cause they're baby is finally grown up and moving out, but they don't need to worry I'll be back home alot I'm sure! I'm excited to finally see what it's like to be on my own for a while!

Since the Lee's were up visiting we decided it was the perfect time for us all to get together and get some family pictures since we never have with all of our family together before. Tyson's cousin Terri did them for us. We had them done down around the fish house, i think they turned out great! Thanks again Terri, you did awesome!
