Our Christmas Tree!

I don't have too much to blog about lately! We're kinda boring and there isn't many new exciting things to blog about! So I'll post a picture of our cute Christmas tree! Last year we went and bought all of our ornaments the day after Christmas because they were all 75% off. When I opened up the "Christmas" tote this year I wasn't too happy with the colors that I picked! I wasn't really liking the blue and silver this year so I decided we needed to add a little pink to our tree to make it...um more girly...or something! I think it turned out alot better then just the blue and silver. Anyway here is our masterpiece!




This week is full of exciting things! I love the Christmas season, it's such a wonderful time of year! Tonight we have a party for my sisters birthday. Tomorrow, Tuesday, and Wednesday there is Aggie games which we always go to... :S (sometimes I get really sick of them...but they are my hubbys favorite!) Tyson's mom's twin brother is bringing his family up from Arkansas on Tuesday and staying at the James' house so that will be fun to be able to spend time with them. Thursday my mom, sisters, and I are going to go out snowshoeing again then to lunch while the guys are still at work! :) Then the parties begin!! Christmas eve with the James family and Christmas day with my family! Hopefully I'll remember to take lots of pictures! AND one of these days I'll get around to taking pictures of our cute condo to show...once I get my house really clean!! :) We hope you all have a safe and wonderful holiday season and remember the true meaning of Christmas! :)

November Nonsense!!

I guess I'm now a once a month blogger! I'm going to start doing better though because school is FINALLY slowing down so I'll have LOTS and LOTS of extra time!! Best news of all....I passed my chemistry class, AND I don't have to take the final next week either because he drops the lowest test and that one can be my lowest! Wahoo! This semester was my hardest so far, but I made it!! November went by so fast! I can't believe Thanksgiving is already over. We didn't do anything too exciting this month but I have some stuff to share. Holly and I did 2 10k races this month, We did really good and I'm proud we finished AND ran the whole time in that cold weather! The first one that we did was the first dam run and the second was the turkey trot in Smithfield. Other stuff this month that happened; I had to make a dress out of candy wrappers for one of my classes, our good friends Alexa and Zach got married, I added a CUTE decoration to our bedroom, I made cute Turkey cake pops with the James' clan, 16 pies for Thanksgiving with my moms, and Black Friday shopping!!!!!!! This year it was so much fun!! I went to bed at 12:30 on Thanksgiving night and woke up at 1:50 a.m. on Black Friday!! Mindi picked me up around 2:30 and we headed to Old Navy first to meet up with Jen because Mindi was supposed to work at seven that day. On the way to Old Navy we saw something in the road that looked like an antler shed, we pulled a u turn and I got out of the car and sure enough...We found a old moose antler in the middle of 2nd North! After Old Navy, we went to Kohls, Al's, Shopko, Smith's, Angies, Shopko again, the Mall, Wal-mart and home finally!! I got pretty much all of my Christmas shopping done too! I'm so glad! We put up our very first Christmas tree together yesterday and it is soooo cute! I LOVE this time of year! It is so much fun, I love everything about it! I'm also soooooo thankful for so many things; a few of them are My wonderful-sweet-perfect-GORGEOUS husband; he works so hard for us and I'm so grateful for everything he does, Both of our families; we love them so much, the Gospel and the happiness that it brings to us, Our home, our jobs, our schooling........so many things to name! I have lots of pictures to post so here they all are!

October fun!!

Where in the world did this month go?! Time is going by way too fast! But we love this time of year...there are so many fun things happening! Yesterday was our FOUR month anniversary! Woah...I know! It seems like yesterday was our wedding day! It's been so much fun! Married life is awesome, We LOVE every minute of it! Some of the things that have happened this month are....Girls weekend (plus Hunter) in St.George, St.George again to cheer on Thad and the USU golf team, Girls day out for lunch and sugar cookies, and last but not least...watching our fair share of basketball, football, and baseball games! St.George was a blast both weekends I went. The first weekend Holly, Mindi, Hunter and I went down on a Friday morning to cheer the old ladies on who were doing the SENIOR GAMES! It was alot of fun to watch and they all did AWESOME! I don't think i've ever laughed as hard as I did that weekend...Women are CRAZY when they get together...everything becomes hilarious! The second St.George trip was the weekend after where Tys and I went down with his family and watched Thad golf...It was lots of fun too! Last Saturday I went to lunch with Mom,Holly,Mindi,and Hunter! We went to Texas Roadhouse then went to my mom's to make sugar cookies! YUMMY! I think we ate more then we gave away...too many deformed cookies that we just HAD to eat! I can't wait for all of the fun festivities coming up in the next few months! This is a wonderful time of year minus the cold weather! Oh yes, and I'm finally getting around to taking pictures of our cute house to show you all! They'll be up by next week hopefully!

Out with the old...in with the new!!

Wow I've been so bad at blogging lately! It's been like two months! But I haven't really had much to blog about we've just been going to school, working, and going to softball games pretty much! I don't think we ever have a free night during the week..there is always something going on...I need a break! Our housework is getting less and less each week...but today since I'm off work I'm going to do some MAJOR cleaning! Yay! So yesterday I went in to get my hair done by Natalee...She is the best!! :) This is what I went in looking like..............

OUR WEDDING!!!

Getting married was the best thing that we ever did! We love every single minute of it...even when we get mad over stupid things! I never ever thought it would be so fun! I love Tyson more and more everyday...never knew my love for him could get any stronger...but it sure does! I love being with my best friend every single day! We have tons and tons of pictures so be prepared!! We just want to thank everyone who helped with our wedding and those who came too...it was the best most perfect day of my life! Everything was so beautiful...thanks Terri!! Thanks everyone, especially our parents and family!! WE LOVE YOU GUYS!!

Bear Lake!

Last weekend we went to Bear Lake with my parents, Holly, Jess, Mindi and Hunter. It was so much fun!! My parents and the Gibbs took trailers and we took our tent and stayed at Traveland RV park...Not our favorite thing to do! We're not used to sharing our camping spots with people we don't know. It wasn't too bad though...just really noisy. Friday evening everyone got there and we set up our tent. Then we went and got yummy shakes! :) After we ate our shakes we played games till way past my bedtime. But I won so it was so worth it! Saturday we went to the beach, played games, ate alot, and went to Cafe Sabor for dinner. Sunday we got up ate breakfast and then played games till we had to check out of the park. It was such a fun weekend! I love being with family; it makes me so happy! We are also loving being married! It's so much fun and I wouldn't change a thing about it! I LOVE it!! We surprisingly got quite a few pictures at Bear Lake... so here they are!













Last of all....Our Wedding pictures will be done FRIDAY!! YaY! We are so excited to see them and the waiting has been killing us! I can't wait!! :)

Our HONEYMOON!!!

Our wedding was so perfect and we couldn't of asked for anything better!! It was way more perfect then I ever thought it could be! We are loving being married so far! It's so much fun!! Our honeymoon was a blast! Our first night we went to anniversary inn and stayed in the "Vegas Nights" room...way cool...we loved it! After we stayed there we headed to the airport and flew to San Diego to get on our cruise ship! We loved every second of our cruise...it was so good to spend so much time together with just us! We stopped at Catalina Island and then down to Ensanada Mexico. The weather was pretty much cloudy the whole time which Tys loved but I hated! You can't go on a cruise without getting a nice tan!! Our cruise was a five day one...we thought it was perfect and couldn't wait to get home to our cute house! Its been rough trying to get everything put in its place so we can finally live in a home not a cluttered mess! We didn't get too many pictures on the cruise because its a pain to ask someone to get a picture of us every time we turn around....But enjoy the ones we do have!!

Wow! Only 5 more days and i'm offically MRS GENTRY DAWN JAMES!!! Wahoo!! I can't wait for this wedding to come! We've got everything all planned out and now it's just waiting time...takes forever but I know it will be here in the blink of an eye! Saturday evening we had the chance to go to the Temple and revieve our endowments...all I can say is AMAZING and Tyson and I can't wait to go back! We had so many family members and support there! Thanks guys! We get to go back on Wednesday and see Tyson's cousin Katie get married...I can't wait! After we went through the Temple we met the rest of our family at Fire House for dinner. It was alot of fun! Thanks everyone for all the love and support you have given us! We'll see if we can make it through the week without killing someone! Hopefully I wont turn into BRIDEZILLA!! Fathers Day was alot of fun! We went to church, went to dinner at Tysons parents, came to my parents house for dinner then went over to Tysons grandmas...alot of food and traveling I know! I want to let my dad know how much I love him, he is the best dad I could ever ask for and I'm so glad I chose him! He is always there for me no matter what and I know I can count on him for anything! I LOVE YOU DAD!!

Yes two moose layin in the shade! It was so cool to see! We couldn't believe they didn't even move an inch when we went outside to take pictures...It was fun to see!
