Let's get festive

Last night we decided to get a little festive. Mind you, I am not the biggest seasonal decorator in the world, mostly because we have never, in our five years of being married, lived somewhere with even a shred of storage. I look at decorations more as used space then anything else. Some day when I live in a bigger house I will become more like Martha. But any how we decided to decorate pumpkins . Rayce had been talking about painting his pumpkin for weeks. Mike and I have never carved pumpkins together, ever. Isn't that pathetic? We have bought them mind you, but never carved them. We had a great time and the pumpkins turned out great. If you want a quick fix just grab a drill and give your pumpkin some polka dots, it is the fastest way I have ever done it.

Who knew Vampires could be so hot!

So I finally read TWILIGHT! You could have never told me that I would enjoy it so much. It was awesome. I read it faster than I read Harry Potter. For those of you who have not read it yet, it reads super fast, and you do have time to read it. Sometimes dropping what you should do for a super great love story is worth it 110%. You won't be dissatisfied. I have read a buch of suggestions for the characters to cast in the movie and I am not completely sold on any of them, except Jude Law and Maggie Gyllenhaal as Carlisle and Esme. I just finished today so I will have to look for my perfect fits. Happy reading everyone!

Pink Pink Pink

Well here it is... if you havent' already guessed, we are having a baby GIRL! I am almost 21 weeks and just had my ultrasound on monday. I really can't believe that we are going to have a girl. You get so used to what you have and then you can't picture yourself with the opposite sex. We are very excited (me especially-to start shopping). I think that Mike is a little nervous but he will be putty in this little one's hands. She will have to be pretty tough to keep up with her brother, we just pray she is a little more mello than Rayce! She is due on Feb. 17th 2008. We are keeping our fingers crossed she doesn't decide to stay in there for longer than that.
