We met up with some friends at peter piper pizza and devyn had the time of her life! Here she is driving the icecream truck while Ashton pushed all the right buttons!

crawling through the tunnels! and yes I(the tallest one in the group mind you!) at one point had to crawl in after some of the kids who where a little scared to come down the slide on their own! It was a site to see I'm sure!!
After looking everywhere for Ashton, this is where we found her! Kylee having to go in after her! and no this did not only happen once!

Thanksgiving in Mexico

Jason's mom grew up in the Mormon colonies in Mexico and his grandma still lives there. It is such a fun place to visit! I hadn't been since Jason and i were dating(5 years ago). FYI the first mini Temple was built in the colonies! Devyn had a great time experiencing the farm life! Here she is with Jason feeding the chickens.

snow in Mexico?!! We woke up Saturday morning to find snow falling! It was so exciting! Devyn loved it and wanted to stay outside all day!

I'm so glad she didn't mind the snow/cold because we are planning to go to Utah for Christmas this year. we can't wait!!

The wagon ride! A real 2 horse power wagon ride! we rode around the colonies and even right by the Temple! It was a really fun thing to do, so we did it 3 times while we were there!

devyn had to be torn away from the toys by the time we were getting all of the grand kids together for a picture. Getting 13 kids under the age of 7 together for a pic is pretty tough, but everyone did pretty good considering! I love the look on Noah's face(second from the left) as if he's thinking "get this over with!"

Mark was a lion, but for the sake of the photo we'll call him the big bad wolf! These two are the best of friends! Aren't they cute together?!
The costume was a way to justify these boots that i had been eyeing for a while! they are to die for and will go with everything!

Yesterday we showed up to swim lessons and to my surprise 12 news was there to do a story about ISR! Devyn made the cut! she was on tonights news, along with my cousin melissa's little girl Blake! swim lessons

This is our last week of swim lessons!! yeah! We have been going every morning for the past 4 weeks. Devyn is doing so well, she can roll herself onto her back and float! she can also swim to the side of the pool! survival skills=priceless!! It didn't hurt that the lessons were priceless too!(a new ISR instructor was being trained) She absolutely loves the LICORICE she gets when she's finished! Oh and this picture reminds me, I forgot to mention two new additions to the family!! Devyn Finally got her front teeth!

Devyn had her first real haircut! it went pretty well actually, daddy kept her busy while mommy cut. These after pics were taken about 3 weeks after the cut, she just happens to be wearing the same pjs as in the before pics!

labor day weekend

We had so much fun this labor day weekend!! Of course we beat the heat and went to grandma and grandpa secrists' in Heber, where else?! Here are some fun pics from the weekend.

It's sad to say but this was probably Devyn's first real encounter with grass, dirt and rocks since she has started walking!! it's too dang hot to go outside at home!(with the exception of swimming)

She absolutley loved this play pool! We put it together first thing on saturday and she was totally obsessed with it the rest of the weekend!Gotta love target clearance!!
