Better Late Than N ever

So I haven't done a very good job of keeping up my blog but I don't seem to get that many chances to sit down for long enough to write anything, and when I do I have a little helper that tries to help me type (Parker LOVES the keyboard). I am going to try to post more often but I am not making any promises.

We have had a lot going on lately and a lot of fun things coming up. Halloween was a ton of fun, Parker did so good in his costume, he was such a trooper! We trick or treated at friends and family Thursday and Friday, and then went to the mall-o-ween Friday night.
Next Friday is Jason's 26th birthday so I am having our families over to celebrate! It is always fun to get everybody together. That Sunday is Thanksgiving and we are going to go to my Grandparents to work around their house. The next Saturday is a candlelight memorial for Peyton, it is a really neat way to celebrate Peyton and all that he means to us. Sunday is Parker's baby dedication, God couldn't have planned these two events any better. One weekend to celebrate both of our sons.
Parker got up at 3:45 this morning, yes 3:45. I let him go to bed at 8:30 when he usally goes to bed around midnight so its my fault. He is VERY CRANKY. Maybe the Chic Fil A chicken nugget and sweet tea will help. :)

Parker and Daddy before his appointment. (I don't know why the picture is so blurry)
Parker got his first shots today, yes I know he is 5 1/2 months old, but we decided to start them a little later because of all of the scares over shots. It was so sad! He screamed his head off and his feelings were so hurt :(. I think it hurt Jason and I just as bad to watch him cry so hard. He has done really well all day, the only side affect I have noticed is he has slept more than usual, so I have gotten a little taste of what its like to have a baby that sleeps! He is healthy and average, a little on the tall side, imagine that! It seems like he is doing something new every day! He has started giving kisses and I can't get enough of them! He is sitting up, eating food, and before I turn around he will be crawling!

This time last year I was 2 months pregnant, God is so good!

"You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit them together in my mother's womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! It is amazing to think about. Your workmanship is marvelous and how well I know it." Psalm 139:13-14

Blessings

I am giving in and starting a blog, mainly because I think this will be neat to look back on as we watch Parker grow. Jason and I have been so blessed. I didn't realize how big of a blessing Parker would be until he got here, and now I don't know what we did without him! It seems like we waited forever for him to get here, and now that he is here, he is growing up so fast! He does something new every day, part of me can't wait for the next new thing and part of me wants to slow him down! God is so faithful to give us just what we need at the right time, even when we have a different plan in mind. I hope everyone enjoys keeping up with Parker and our family!
