June 30, 2012. Dave and Katie Kimball were sealed in the Draper, Ut. Temple. It was an absolutely beautiful ceremony followed by a fabulous luncheon at a tucked away park in Herriman. We loved getting to meet a lot of Katie's family that weren't able to make it to Hawaii for the wedding. Aren't they the cutest. We're so excited for baby girl Kimball who will be joining them in November!

While the Cat is Away...
With their dads headed off to Scout Camp, we headed up to my friend Brandy's old stomping grounds for a fun hike...
Then to Brandy's parents home for some swimming, where Jess perfected her back flip! We swam the day away and then took the kids out for dinner, snowcones, and time at the park. Brandy's parents were so nice to let us spend the night and we stayed up late watching "The Tooth Fairy."
The next day we headed to the Treehouse Museum, where we could have stayed all day. The kids lasted for hours, starvation was the only reason we ventured out of the museum.
Tanner milking a cow. There were different dress-ups in each room for the kids to wear while they role-played. So cute!
Jess having a mad-hatter tea party.
These four got to take part in a play they put on. It was so cute to see them following directions and saying their parts.
Taylor being an "army guy" What he wants to be when he grows up.
They had this adorable nursery with doctor's coats and a scale where the kids could take care of the babies. Tyson could have spent the whole day carrying this baby with him.
After a yummy lunch and a quick trip back to Salt Lake so Tyson could have a good nap, we met up later that night to see Madagascar 3 at the drive-in. I haven't been to a drive-in since I was Jess' age. It was so much fun. It was a great way to keep the kids and mom's entertained while the dad's were braving the mosqitoes and 12 year old boys at camp!
Thanks Seamans!!
Thanks Seamans!!
Lake Tahoe
In June, we took a Kimball Family vacation to Lake Tahoe. It was such a fun time spent with our wonderful family. We rented a house by the lake that amazingly had room for all of us along with a pool table, foozball, ping pong, and air hockey tables that were invaluable for helping entertain the kids. We spent the first day at a Mountain Man Rendezvous in Carson City, NV.
Taylor and Phil tried knife throwing...
Look closely for the knife at the top of this one ;)
The next day was Sunday and after church we used the excuse that we were all dressed up,
for some family pictures (Grandma spoiled the kids for Easter ;)

Grandma & Grandpa
Later that day Phil took the kids on a hike while Tyson napped.
They hiked past this beautiful castle like home and opted for a picture.
The next day was spent at the beach. The water was freezing, but that didn't stop the kids from having a great time playing in the sand.
There are beautiful bike trails throughout Tahoe. We loaded up our bikes on our rack and Ben and Lisa were troopers and hauled the rest up in the trailer so we could all enjoy a couple bike rides while in town. The first day was a little intense as to keep the youngest ones away from riding right by the highway, we took some dirt paths that had us crawling under an overpass and across a bridge to get back to the paved paths. They were all troopers and it turned out to be a fun adventure. The next day we took a path that led to some homes they have preserved as museums of a very weathly family who lived there many decades before. This is a picture of us on the steps of one of their many homes on the property.
Tanner decided he wanted to drive back!
These two were troopers in the trailer.
The following day we found a beautiful beach/cove area to play in.
Dave even let us try out his awesome kayak.

Tanner trying to figure out how to float along with dad and Tyson.
The girls saw this big rock and paddled out to jump off of it.
Here's Jess on her second jump. Can you tell she knew I was taking her picture?

Phil wasn't about to let the girls have all the fun!
The token picture of mom to document I was on vacation with the family!
Our little divas! We had such a fun time. We always love any excuse to get together with our family. We comment everytime we're together how awesome it is that we all get along so well. It was so nice to spend time together without any distractions, and in such a beautiful place!

Blessing Keladry
Baby Keladry was blessed by her daddy.
We had the opportunity to go to Heber to be part of her special day...
The kids enjoying Liana's parents property, especially the horses. They are Tyson's current obsession. He loves anything to do with Hor-Hes'.
