Mabel is Blessed
Mabel was Blessed by her Daddy on November 25th in our home. There were quite a few people there for the occasion. It was very nice. Great Grandma Joy made Mabel's Blessing dress and blanket. The dress looked beautiful on her.
I love this picture of my sister Lanae and Mabel. I am just jealous that it isn't me in the picture instead of Lanae.

Mabel 8 Weeks Old
Mabel is really getting big. On November 8th she turned 2 months old and she went to the doctor for her first shots. She wasn't very happy about getting poked 3 times, but she did pretty well. While at the doctor, we found out that she weighs 12 pounds and measures 24 1/4 inches long. She is in the 80th percentile for her weight and the 97.54th percentile for her height. That means that out of a hundred girls her age, 2 1/2 of them are taller than her. She got her daddy's height. The doctor said she is the height of an average 4 month old. He put her on her tummy and saw how well she held herself up and looked around and he said developmentally she is at a four month old average as well. So she is doing very well. She just keeps growing and doing new things every day. One of her new things is blowing bubbles and spitting. Here are some new fun pictures of her.

Aunt Lanae

I love this picture. Mabel has been so strong right from the very beginning. Here she is having her "tummy time" She has already rolled over on a few different occasions.
I love this little onsie that Fred and I bought for Mabel when we were in NYC in May while I was pregnant with her. Mabel had already been to 9 different states before she was even born.
