Merry Christmas

Santa found us!
Ri was so excited about her baby that she didn't
put her down all day! I ended up opening all her
presents for the rest of the day!
Santa even filled Ryan's stocking, no, not with cole
he's been a pretty good boy this year!
We went over to dad and Joni's for brunch with
the family. This is such a great picture because Ri
is usually so shy around my grandpa and she ran
right up to him and wanted a hug. It made his day!
My grandma and grandpa gave her this table and
chairs with the disney princesses on them, it ranked
up the with her baby, she loved it!
Here are some cute pictures of the gang!
Me and my cute husband.
Justin, Katie and my grandpa.
My brothers Derek and Kyle with Ri.
Justin, Jenny and Joni. We had a very Merry
Christmas and we hope you all did too!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve started out with me and Ri
making cookies for Santa, I know you're all
wondering, why did she make little blobs for
Christmas, well they're trees, I know it's a
shocker, but they were yummy! After Ri finished decorating them we got them
ready for Santa.
Later that night we headed over to dad and
Joni's for dinner and to watch Christmas Vacation.
Rian sweet talked her way into getting to open a
couple presents. This is LeBron the bear, my dad
named him and it stuck!

She also got Christmas jammies.

Christmas Party

They say a picture is worth a thousand words and
this one says it all, pure craziness! Every year on
the Sunday before Christmas Joni's family has
their annual party and it is always a blast, but this
year was even better because Ri has figured out
the whole Christmas thing and she was on
sensory overload tonight! She was all about opening presents, whether they
were hers or not.
She got some fun puzzles.

She was less impressed with the new clothes.
Ashley and Brooke looked so cute!
This is my sister-in-law Jenny and my brother
Zach and Katie and my brother Justin.
Grandma and her girls.
How cute are these two!Ri reading her book, she so funny!

A Visit with Santa and Our Gingerbread House

This morning Ri and I had a few last minute
gifts to get and while we were at the mall
Rian just had to see Santa. She was so excited
she didn't stop talking the whole time we
were waiting! When she got up to Santa she
sat on his lap and told him she wanted a
baby, everything was fine until I stepped
away to take a picture and then freak out!
I wish the picture wasn't so blurry, there
was a fingerprint on the lens that I didn't
notice until after. After we recovered from the Santa drama we
decided to make our gingerbread house, I say make,
really we just put it together and decorated it!

Ri thought it was the greatest thing ever, she
had fun with all the frosting!
We had a pretty fun day!

Cookie Exchange

Since we moved into our house my family has been
telling me I need to have a get together so they
could come up and see the place. On Saturday I
decided to do just that and have a cookie exchange.
Mother nature had other plans and we got 8 in. of snow! This is our tree. Ri made the chain at
daycare. She is so proud of it, she tells
us every morning that she made it!

My step mom braved the elements and came
up. Ri was so excited to see Grandma!

I made white chocolate cranberry biscotti and I
dipped the bottoms in chocolate, and I don't like
to toot my own horn, but toot! toot! They were
really yummy!

Spots!

Rian gave us a little scare this weekend, she woke
up on Thanksgiving covered in red spots, we
thought she was having an allergic reaction
to something so we rushed her to the doctor.
It wasn't an allergic reaction which was good,
but she has something called Eyrthema. It's a
benign skin condition, they don't know what causes
it and it just goes away on it's own in a few days.
You just feel so bad looking at her because she's
all splotchy and swollen, but the good news is
that it didn't bother her at all!

Polar Express

Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving, we went
to Heber to ride the Polar Express. We Almost
didn't make it because Ryan got stuck at work,
but we got there just before the train pulled out! Rian had a great time! Elves pass out hot chocolate
and cookies and they read the book while the kids
follow along.

When the train gets to the North Pole it picks up
Santa and he walks around and talks to all the kids
and gives everyone a bell just like in the book.

Baby Max

I'm so behind on my blogging. Last Sunday our
friends Scott and Liz came over with their new
baby Max. He's a month old now and getting so
big! I debated whether I should put this picture
on here because I look rough, you would think I
was the one that just had the baby!Rian is in love with Max, she thinks he's her baby!

TWILIGHT!

Last night was finally the night we have been waiting
for for sooo long, Twilight premiered at midnight and
we were there! I was seriously so excited, I'll admit
it, I had the fever! We met up at Joni's house for a few pictures.

Then it was off to Squatters for dinner and drinks.
It was a pretty busy place on a Thursday night
at 10pm, it kind of surprised me.
After dinner we went to the theater, it was hysteria!
So many screamy girls, it was so funny, I'm glad we
were there to get the full experience!

This was us right before the movie started. The
movie was perfect, I loved it! It was just like I
imagined it! The cast was perfect everyone just fit!
Thanks Ash and Joni, I had such a fun night I'm
ready to see it again!
