The Color Run

Ri has become my little running buddy. She has been wanting to

do a 5k with me so when I heard about the color run I thought it

sounded perfect and signed us up.

These are the before pictures!

 And here are the after pictures. While you're running through

the course you run through different stations where people

throw color everywhere. It was a blast!

 After the run they had a stage and a dj and

it turned into a huge dance party with colors flying

everywhere! 

 Ri and I had a fantastic time and we can't wait to

do it again next year and bring Rors with us!

Back to School

It's that time again, time for a new school year to start.

I'm still having trouble believing that both my girls are now in school!

First up, Ri started the second grade, how did that happen?! She is

growing up so stinkin' fast!

Gorgeous

I love summer rain storms! For the last month or so around

9pm the clouds roll in and it rains and then just like that  it's

gone. I also love what the storms leave behind, rainbows

and gorgeous sunsets!

My Girl is Growing Up

Well, believe it or not our sweet little Rian is 7 years old now,

I can't believe it! She is growing up so fast. She decided that for

her birthday she wanted new bedroom stuff, she had a princess room

that she told me she was getting to old for :(

 She chose Monster High stuff.

 On the girls birthdays I usually make them a birthday breakfast, I had 

worked the night before so I stopped on the way home and got her

this giant donut.

 She wanted to have her birthday party at Cowabunga Bay

with a few of her friends, it was so fun!!

Family Night

The other night Ryan surprised us with tickets to Bruce Hornsby

at Deer Valley. It was so fun, we packed a picnic and the girls

loved running around playing and hula hopping.

Mini Golf

The girls and I have been working our way through

our summer list and we chose to go play mini golf 

the other day. The girls had a blast and Rors was so funny!

She actually ended up getting a hole in one completely

by accident, but boy Ri wasn't happy about it!

Fun at the Lake

My friends and I decided it was time for another beach day. So

we packed everybody up and headed to the lake. The weather 

was gorgeous and we all had a great time.

 Such a fun day!

 Rian has turned into a paddle boarding pro!

Utah Pro-Am

Ryan was invited to play in the Utah Pro-Am. He was thrilled and

very excited when his team ended up winning!! We were so proud of 

him and all his hard work!! That Sunday Ryan got us all tickets to go

watch the final round of the tournament. The girls loved it they got lunch and

treats and we walked the course and watched they pro that Ryan

got to play with.

 The pro's name was We Kim and it was fun to walk the course

and watch him play. He was so nice and when Ryan said hi to

him he said hi back in introduced himself to us. I think he ended up

finishing tied for 5th place.

Golf Trip

I'm a little late posting these pictures. Last month Ryan and 

his friend Du went on their annual golf trip. This year they 

went to Bandon Duns in Oregon and had an amazing time!!

Spoiled Girls

Meet the newest member of the family! After two days and 

a few profanity laced outbursts the girls new swing set is up

and fully functioning! We are lucky to have such amazing

 husband/papa!! Thanks Ryan!!

Recital Time

Saturday was Rian's gymnastics recital, she was sooo excited!!

Ri has been working so hard and it was fun to see how

much she's accomplished in the last year!

 I'm so proud of this kid!! I'm so excited for the upcoming 

year and competitions! 

Staycation

This year we took separate vacations. Ryan went to Oregon on a 

golf trip and the girls and I spent a day at the lake with 

some of our friends and then we spent the weekend at the 

Homestead. We had such a great time even though

we weren't all together.

 The weather was perfect! The water was still a 

little cold, but that didn't keep the girls out of the water.

 The girls were so excited to stay at the Homestead for a

couple reasons, but the main one being that they got to have

bunk beds!

 We even had our own patio.

 We spent most of our days by the pool, but there were 

all sorts of fun activities.

 The girls even made a new friend.
