Last Saturday was FREEZING, and it just happened to be the day we scheduled to take our family pictures. We went out to Staheli farms and got some cute pictures.

After breakfast and hot chocolate at Denny's we went up to the mountains to get a Christmas tree. We had boiled water for more hot chocolate and hot dogs. We put them in small coolers, and they were still boiling hot when we got them out for lunch.

Thanksgiving

A little late, I know, but we had an awesome Thanksgiving. We were able to spend the weekend with Ty's WHOLE family in Panguitch. All of his immediate family was there, and all of his mom's family. We took some great pictures. It was so nice to be able to spend time with all of the brothers, sisters, and cousins. Have all the new babies was fun too. We got cute pictures of Kylee, Oaklee, and Trevor. They all seemed to be on the same feeding schedule, which was funny.

My mom, Lisa and I ventured out on Black Friday. That was the craziest thing we have done in a long time. We got to Target at 5:25 and we stood in line for TWO hours waiting to check out. We didn't even get anything spectacular. We attempted a few other stores then called it good. Mom and I went out Saturday morning; we were in and out of Target in a half hour with stuff they were out of on Friday.

Too big for her pants!

Kylee does not like to lay down and be a baby, she wants to be up and looking around. She is very observant and always checking things out, (especially Aunt Lisa's hair) and doesn't want to be left out of conversations. When we read to her she has to check out everything on all the pages, and she loves to watch TV especially Baby Einstein.
She was playing on the floor talking and interacting in our conversations. We were just watching her and listening to her... and all of a sudden she ROLLS OVER! No more being left on high surfaces, so is just too big for that.
Kylee also loves to stand up. She has such strong legs and full of so much energy. Grandma and Grandpa Carson are getting ready to do tile in the kitchen and Kylee wanted to be right in the middle. So they put her in the walker, and she had a good time pushing herself backwards across the room. After a little jump and a push she goes sliding backwards with a great big smile!

4 Months

I took Kylee to her 4 month check up on Wednesday. She weighed 14.75 lbs and 25 inches long, she is in the 76% of her weight, and 79% of her height. The doctor said she was very responsive, healthy, and growing well. She had to get her shots again--mean old shots in both legs. As a mother that is the hardest part. She was screaming SOO hard. It makes the mom cry to see my precious little girl so sad.
Last time she had shots they didn't seem to bother her, but this time she had a little bit of a fever and just not feeling well. Poor little girl is just having a hard time. She loves to gnaw on everything. When she can get some one's finger in her mouth she just loves to bite on it and then rip it out of her mouth. I really think she is trying to cut teeth. The gnawing and drooling is constant. But when she holds my fingers hostage in her mouth I can feel the little skin under her tongue is really tight. I kept telling Ty that I think she is tongue tied

So I asked the doctor about everything. He said it is just the age, and probably not cutting teeth for another few months. But he did say she was tongue tied, so not only did she get shots, but she got the little piece under her tongue cut too. The doctor said its better to get it cut early. Kylee has found a lot of new faces to make with her tongue.

So you can understand why she is having a rough time, but she is a "Tough Chick!"

Zzz

Three in a half months along! It is crazy how fast Kylee grows. Look how long she is. We go to the doctor for her four month check up (and shots) next week, then we willl be able to see how much she weighs.Kylee: Cleaning house with mom is very boring! Not a lot I can do, expecially where I don't hold on to things for very long.

First Halloween

Weekends are always crazy, but enjoyable.
We got to go to lunch with Grandma and Grandpa Bangerter, my mom and dad, and Lisa at Brick Oven Pizza. YUM!

Thanks to Lisa we had a Halloween photo shoot at the Holiday Inn on Bluff. They always have a very nice display of pumpkins and hay bales. Kylee was more of a talker than a smiler.

Then we went to the Trunk or Treat with our ward early that afternoon.

And finally that night we had a party at our house and served Taco soup.

Arizona

Last weekend we headed to Kingman Aizona for Kali's wedding. It was a pretty boring ride through the desert. I had to take this picture for the benefit of my sister.

I am from Nevada, but it was worse than what I grew up in. Kingman is always windy, so being outside all day for the wedding and reception dinner didn't do very good on Kylee's tummy. We left Sunday after church to take Megan and Kyle to the Las Vegas airport.
On the way back we stopped for just a few minutes at the Hoover Dam. They are building a new road over the Dam to avoid all the switchbacks. It was awesome to see how high off the ground the road was and the architectial work.
But we soon found out what tole the wind really had on Kylee's tummy. She SCREAMED! As soon as we got her out of the car seat she was ok, but when her feet touched the seat to go back in she would start crying again.
As a mother it just broke my heart, and almost brought me to tears as well. Knowing she was not happy and not sure what to do for her was so hard. After we dropped Megan and Kyle off I rode in the back so she could hold my hands and talk to her until she fell asleep.

3 Months!

I know people tell you to, "Enjoy it while it last, cause it goes fast!" I have always just said, "Yeah, I know.." But HOLY COW!! It doesn't just go fast it FLIES!
Kylee passed her three month birthday on Sunday.
She is so much fun to watch. Kylee is very observant, always happy, tries so hard to sit up, and quite a talker. She especially loves to listen to her dad. When Ty talks to her she gets the biggest ear to ear grin! That smile could just break your heart. Kylee also sleeps in her own room, in her crib-- at least the first half of the night. Her mom gets tired and forgets to put her back after feed.

BLOW OUT!

So much pressure for a little girl!!

We DON'T Like Pampers!

But still a happy Girl! She was with her dad the other night, and I got a text, "Mayday, mayday.. We have a blowout. Send in the National Guard! The dad has declared this a state of emergency."

Little Swimmer

Lots has happened, and lots has changed especially Kylee. She has such a cute personality. So coes and tries so hard to talk.

We had a fun time at the Washington County Rec Center. Mom, Shay, Belle, Maycee, Kia, Kylee and I spent the evening swimming. It was still a little cold for Kylee bug, but she sure did look cute. She was not quite sure about the water, but didn't cry until we got out and she got cold.

WORK YUK!

Last week was my first week back to work. It was nice starting after Labor day becasue I only had to work three days. I will work two full days and two half day, which is really like working three days, but I am still gone. Kylee will get to spend one day with her dad and the other three days with Grandma Carson (my mom). With her being with her dad and gradma makes it easier to go back, but still not fun.

I am still nursing, so pumping at work was not the most exciting thing. That is what I was most nervous about since I am The Front desk and having to be gone for fifteen min every three hours, but it has worked out ok.

Kylee is getting so big so fast. She has always gotten so excited when she would hear her dad's voice. This made me very happy, but at the same time she didn't get that excited when I would talk to her. But she heard by voice for nine months (non stop) and I spent all the time with her and dad had to work. But now when I come home from work she regonizes my voice and gets a little more excited, and wants to just talk to me.

It is amazing a little smile or smerk just melts your heart! The Love that never ends.

Blessing

This past weekend was such a special spiritual experience. We had a lot of family and friends that shared this experience with us. We love and appreciate all of you for changing your schedules and for those who had to travel. We enjoyed your company. I know there were a lot who wanted to come but it didn't work out; we understand,

Ty was a little nervous but he did such a great job blessing Kylee. He is such a wonderful father and loves his baby girl so much.

I want him to know how much I love and appreciate all he does for us. When he gets home from work he always says, "She needs her dad to hold her!!" On days he works late or an extra shift, Kylee doesn't calm down completely until he has held her. That, to me shows the importance of a father in a child's life.

Kylee Bug has not been feeling good the last few days. She is so stuffy that she had a hard time eating, and her little eyes keep weeping. She is not a puker, but she puked two nights in a row, and then a week later, three nights in a row. I tried to notice what I had eaten those time she had puked. I know there are a lot of variables, but both days I had eaten bacon, and pepperoni. Ty's family has a history of being allergic to pork - Ty, his mom, and his grandma. So I thought there was a pretty good chance she could be too.

I took her to the doctor to see what he thought we needed to do. Its not that she is not getting enough food cause she weighed 9 lbs 8 oz. That is almost three pounds in six weeks. Cream, baby!!

But I was not satisfied with the doctors diagnosis to let her "just grow out of it". So I took her to an allergy doctor that uses NAET - Nambudripad's Allergy Elimination Techniques (Look it up or ask us about it, it is something Ty and I can testify to) and she is allergic to my milk. Not so bad that she throws up everytime she eats, but that is why her eyes has been watery since birth. I had the doctor test her for pork just to see before he tested her for my milk, and sure enough she was allergic to the perservites that are specific to pork processed foods. That was exactly what Ty was allergic to also, and now he can eat it whenever he wants.

With curing allergies using NAET you have to have a little tube on your skin for 25 hours-- that was interesting keeping it on her, but it spent most of the time in her diaper. This morning she held on to it while we bathed.
I have also caught something that has made me all congested and sore throat. It could be a combination of a few things; the terrible smoke that has been in the air from all the fires, stressing about my pressious baby being sick, and stressing about NOT wanting to go back to work. I was supposed to go back this week, but I pushed it out until after Labor day.

We are also trying to get our house cleaning done as well as my mom's house for this weekend's company. We are blessing Kylee and looking forward to spending time the our families.

Also while we were in Panguitch we got Kylee's four year generation picture on her dad's side, so now we have four year generation pictures on both sides. Neither Ty or I have Great Grandparents, but our four year generations are "Great"!

Month Old!!

Kylee had her Month birthday on Saturday. She is getting so big toooo fast. Its amazing how alert she is especially when her dad talks to her. She can be fully concentrated on something until she hears her dad's voice, then she looks all around until she finds him. Her beautiful little eyes are so bright and I think starting to turn brown.

We have had a busy weekend. We started it Thursday by going to Overton to get another load of my parents stuff to bring to St. George. Kylee and I can't do much but its fun to go for the ride. She is a great little traveler; just sleeps in her car seat.

Then Saturday afternoon we went to Panguitch to see Ty's family. Introduced the baby to the Cowgirl life with the Panguitch Rodeo on Sat, and horse back riding on Monday-- her first horse ride. This was the first time that her cousins' and aunts and uncles got to hold her. (When Kylee was born no one under the age of 14 could come in, so Sage, Lane and Hailey only got to see her in the nursery). And the Grandmas and Grandpa got their baby fix for a day or two.
Kylee is the BEST little girl anyone could ask for. She is a great traveler, only cries when she is hungry or has a mean bubble in her tummy, sleeps 4 to 7 hours during the night, and she is OUR BEAUTIFUL BABY GIRL!!

Kylee's 2nd Dr. Apt

Today was her two week follow up doctors appointment. She is such a good girl. She weighs 7 lbs 7 oz, and 21 inches long. The doctor said I must have Grade A milk make help her grow this fast. He also awarded her the "Best Toes" (thanks to her mom). She is in the 75% for her weight, and 42% for her length.
We also had to do her second PKU testing, and she only cried for just a second.
She is a great shopper too. Just enjoys looking around or sleeping until --- she is hungry!! Thens she wants to eat NOW! A little drama baby, but the best any one could wish for.

Growing, Growing, Growing Fast!

I can't believe how much she is changing and growing so fast. Kylee is two weeks tomorrow. We have just enjoyed every minute of her! We have had so much fun taking LOTS of pictures. The second day we had her home from the hospital we had her first photo shoot; thanks to Lisa and Shay.

We have enjoyed all the friends and family that have come to see her. We appreciate all the love and support given to us as parents. Parents? That is still a crazy phrase, but a great blessing.

Doctor's Apts Once A Week!!

Doctor's appointments every week from here on out.
So many little things left to do and not much time. Ty and I went to a Prenatal class. It was very informative and answered questions I hadn't thought of. As part of the class they took us over to the hospital and showed us the labor and delivery section which gave me comfort of knowing where to go when the big happens.

My last two doctor's appointments I have been dilated to a 1cm. Last weeks appointment he said it was a little bigger than a 1 but not a 2 so things are progressing.

We got rid of the old carpet and put a new sub floor in and new carpet in the Baby's room. Now I can really get the baby room finished and organized.

I have always been a desert rat, and enjoyed the heat more than the cold, but the heat is doing weird things to be feet-- It looks like I have elephantiasis!! Poor little sausage toes!!

Other than that everything is going great. We are both staying busy with work, callings, working on my parents house, traveling to see family and I don't know what else, but we are always on the go.

~5 WEEKS to Go~

~5 WEEKS~ I can't beleive we only have 5 weeks to until the baby comes. I remember when I was only 5 weeks along. That is when we had finally found out for sure that I was pregnant.
It has been a busy last few weeks which helping my parents clean, prime, paint, pack, and un-pack. I can't do much in the that last list of tasks. My job description was cheer leader, photographer, and chef.
(more to come)

May Madness!!

I know its normally March Madness- but in our family it has been May Madness! We had family down Megan's endowment the second weekend in May. That was wonderful. We had all Ty's brothers, sister, and spouses, and half of the grandkids (with the three of us being pregnant).

The next weekend was Megan's wedding and reception. Everything was so beautiful and full of excitement. Megan and Kyle were married in the Salt Lake Temple, had their reception in Morgan. The reception was all bright colored Gerber daiseys. They put my in charge of the chocolate fountain-- not the usual spot for a pregnant women. We had a wonderful time.

The next weekend we enjoyed with my family for Kadin's wedding and reception. Kadin and Shantay were married at the Oakly town hall. Everthing was decorated in Blue and Silver. My dad got to walk my sister and I down the ile- one on each arm. It was a very touching ceremony. Kadin and Shantay had Ty and I in the reception line. I think Ty and my dad had more fun in the line than is allowed.

And finally last weekend was the Kadin's reception in Overton. We had a good time setting up and taking down the backdropsIt too was beautifully decorated. It was good to see old friends from the valley. Along with all of the exciting reception plans we also helped my parents packi things up to heljp with the move.

Now its time to really focus on Girls camp. (I will add pictures as soon as I get them loaded)

My Lucky Day!

We went to Cedar last weekend to see our niece's dance competition. It was great to see the Pang family. We have had our truck up for sale for a little while, but with the ways things are we have not been to sell it So we just wanted to see what options we would have for cars when we did sell the truck. So we stopped into a car dealer and they happened to be have a radio broadcast and a drawing in about 45 mins. So we decided to stick around, enter the drawing and take a couple cars for test drives for the fun of it.
There were a couple cars that were good potentials. It was passed the time for the drawing so we asked who had won they said, "Stephanie Bangeta". Ten minutes later Ty said, "Maybe it could be Stephanie Bangerter, she just wrote her name messy." So the guy asked me what my phone number was to verify, I told him and he said, "Its you! You won!" I WON A BIG SCREEN TV!! I never win.
So with offer they gave us on the truck, and the low miles and price on the Hydai Senada, we signed papers.
So the Conclusion: we got rid of the truck, got a great deal on a car, and a Big Screen TV!

It's A Girl!

We got to see our baby again yesterday. It is so cool the technology now days. Our biggest desire for this ultrasound what to clarify that the baby was a girl. She still had her ankles cross, but we were able to tell that it was a girl. Our ultrasound tech was great and printed several pictures for us. We also took our tape again so we have had both ultrasounds recorded. Towards the end of the ultrasound she was trying to get one last good profile picture, but there was something that kept getting in the way-- A FOOT! Baby was sucking on her toe. No wonder why I get kicked all over.

Busy, Busy, Busy!!

Life is crazy with all the projects, assignments, and messes that we get ourselves into. Ty has been working hard to get the garage cleaned up so both the cop car and the truck will fit. Sorry Lisa- Little Red (McQueen) has to stay outside. Ty has also been trying to keep our garden alive with all the weird weather changes. He went down to Overton to help my parents get their yard cleaned up and stuff(junk) taken to the dump or given away. He also has a lot to do with his church calling and the extra side jobs. Sometimes is just wears me out to think of all the things he does for everyone. I could not have possibly found someone greater than Ty. I love you T!

I try to keep up with him but its hard. Girls Camp has been and will be my project for the few months. I have tried to delegate and bring others into my nutty life to have the great enjoyment of planning camp as well, but its coming fast especially with May full of weddings and receptions, and the baby due in July.

Where Does Time Go?

I can't believe how fast the time flies. It is hard to think that I am already 6 1/2 months pregnant. The baby will be here in no time. We haven't done much to get the baby room ready yet. If all goes well, my parents are in the process of buying a house in Saint George, which will be GREAT!, so the baby room arrangements will be different without Lisa living with us.
I have an appointment next week for another ultrasound!! Hopefully the baby will cooperate a little more than last time, but now I am worried about it holding still long enough to see. I can't believe how active the baby has become in just the last week. Sitting at a desk and working on a computer everyday, the baby thinks its getting squished so she is constantly kicking up into my ribs, but it so much fun to feel her move. She will be a wiggle bum that's for sure.

Update on Life

Its been such a long time since I have had a chance to sit down and update my blog, and to look at everyone's blog. Things have been going really well. Ty finished my Pantry so I got that loaded and realize the things I am missing from my food storage, but its great. Up until a few weeks ago, depending on the shirt I wore, I could hide if I wanted to that I was pregnant but not anymore.

At my last doctors appointment we told him that we could not tell for SURE if it was a girl or a boy, so he said we could schedule another ultrasound when I was about 26 weeks. By then the baby will be getting a lot bigger and hopefully we will be able to get some better pictures.

I have been able to feel the baby move for a few weeks now, but one night we were getting ready for bed and I had read somewhere that after five months you could hear the heartbeat with a stethoscope. Ty was listening but he couldn't hear anything. Just as he went to put it away I said, "Ty the baby is kicking" he put his hand on my belly to feel and said, "That's you! Your doing that." I told him that I cannot suck in or push out. He couldn't believe how strong she was kicking. This was something I have been waiting for. It was so much fun to share the experience with Ty.

A couple nights later Lisa came back from the weekend and wanted to feel the baby, but nothing is consistent yet. We had both headed to bed and I yelled for her to come feel the baby. I told her I she was kicking but I didn't know how long it would last. But she continued to kick for her. It is a great bonding for Lisa and I, and also the baby.

ULTRASOUND!!

There are many different folk tells on how to determine the sex of the baby before its born. Our family favorite is the pencil trick. You put a threaded needle in the end of #2 pencil and dangle it over your arm. It does a circle between each baby, and crosses the arm if its a boy and up the arm if its a girl. For over two and a half years that we have been married it has been a boy, girl, girl, boy. And so far in our family it has not been wrong. I have been preparing boy things and looking at boy toys and clothes.
Today was our ultrasound. It was awesome to see the baby moving and squirming inside of me. The little hands would not stop moving, and the feet were not so little- its defiantly got its dad's toes. I am sorry to report that the pencil trick was WRONG!! The baby would not un-cross its legs, but there was no extra plumbing. We were able to get a video of part of the ultrasound which will be a lot of fun to have.

I am at the in-between sizes stage. My regular clothes don't fit, but maternity clothes are too big. So it makes it hard to find something to wear each morning. My clothes fit pretty good in the morning but by afternoon after food and gravity have kicked in they don't fit as well. need morning clothes and afternoon clothes.
Depending on the day, the baby really pokes out, other days you can't hardly tell. I am still waiting to really feel the baby. We shined a flashlight on my belly one night and the baby didn't like that very much, I could feel little it moving it felt like little butterflies until we took the light off. It won't be long until we get to find out what the baby is. I can't wait to see the baby. My ultra sound is scheduled Monday!!
(Lisa made me stand against the wall and be serious)

We have finally got our house put somewhat back together. We have had the carpet in for a while, but I just have not been able to upload my pictures. It is wonderful to walk down the hall out of our bedroom and know that there are not a stack of boxes or crates blocking the door ways. My awesome husband arranged the furniture in the front room, hurting his shoulder in the process, but he did a great job.

He has also been working "in his yard" to get things cleaned up. He made 4 trips in one day to the reuse center for all the trees he pulled up and the bushes he trimmed. He has started to place rocks n the front yard under the trees to help with weeds. He is just a go getter, and has to stay busy. Just my little "Worker Bee".
