Shin Noguchi
Street photographer born in Shinjuku, Tokyo, in 1976, based in Kamakura and Tokyo since 2002.
His work focuses on capturing moments of beauty and humanity within everyday life. Without staging or using no-finder shooting, he explores the intricate and delicate aspects of Japanese culture through a poetic and contemplative approach.
He has been invited to exhibit in France, Italy, London, and China, and his work has been featured by Courrier, The Independent, and The Guardian, among others. He has also received commissions for photography and image licensing from newspapers such as Libération and The Wall Street Journal, as well as companies including Leica. He was featured in Leica’s 70th-anniversary M-System campaign and the Leica 100 Years exhibition.

シンノグチ
ストリートフォトグラファー。1976年、東京都新宿生まれ。2002年より鎌倉と東京を拠点に活動。
日常の中に潜む美と人間性の瞬間を捉えることを主題とし、演出やノーファインダー撮影を用いずに、詩的かつ静謐なアプローチで日本文化の複雑で繊細な側面を表現している。
これまでにフランス、イタリア、ロンドン、中国などで招待展示され、クーリエ、インデペンデント、ガーディアン紙などで取り上げられ、リベラシオン、WSJといった新聞社やライカなど多くの企業からも、撮影や写真提供の依頼を受けている。また、ライカM型70周年キャンペーンやライカ100周年記念展でも紹介された。

「被写体は、生きることの意味やその価値を私に教えてくれます。私にとって写真を撮るという行為は、人々の存在 ー 人間の本質や業 ー を肯定することであり、それはまた自分自身の存在を肯定し、ありのままを受け入れる機会でもあるのです。」
