RfD nomination of John Carbon

[change source]

An editor has asked for deletion of John Carbon, a page you wrote. We thank you for your changes, but the nominator doesn't think that the page meets Wikipedia's rules for inclusion and has said why in the nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

You are welcome to join the discussion at Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2026/John Carbon; please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also change the page during the discussion to bring it in line with our rules. But you should not remove the requests for deletion flag from the top of the page; doing so will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you very much. CountryANDWestern (talk) 12:35, 18 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for letting me know. I’ll review the RfD discussion and the concerns about notability and sourcing and make any appropriate changes. Jansung (talk) 20:21, 21 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Jansung. We welcome your changes to Wikipedia, but if you are closely associated with some of the people, places or things that you have written about on Wikipedia, you may need to read our advice on conflicts of interest.

All users need to follow Wikipedia's neutral point of view rules for content. People with a close connection to a subject often have a strong opinion about it. This may cause them to change the article in ways that make it either too flattering or too critical. They will most often not be aware they are doing it. Everybody is allowed to write about whatever subjects they want to, but they need to be very careful about making sure their changes are supported by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject you are writing about, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid changing or creating pages related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with. If you do decide to write about these things, be very careful with how you do it.
  • Be careful about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to give information about independent sources in deletion discussions. However, try not to give an opinion about whether an article should be deleted.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Be very careful so that you do not accidentally break Wikipedia's rules.

Please make yourself familiar with Wikipedia's rules and guidelines on content — especially those about neutral point of view, giving sources, and autobiographies. Thank you. Your editing pattern suggests you are receiving payment to edit on behalf of a client. If this is the case, you must disclose that information. CountryANDWestern (talk) 12:36, 18 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

This is your final warning: if you are editing on behalf of clients, you must disclose that information. Your editing pattern shows clearly that you are. CountryANDWestern (talk) 09:33, 22 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
