team fortress 2 is ♥♥♥♥.. this one is better and came before tf2

team fortress 2 was supposed to be different and modern looking with a commander mode aka brotherhood of arms.. i dont know wtf you think get the ♥♥♥♥ out of here

Team Fortress 2 had been praised and got high scores.

Now if you tell that the release (and the first few years) was a better game before some unnecessary updates I agree but I don't see how a game coming before another makes it better.

Brotherhood in Arms looked too much like your generic military FPS to the point it would've been crushed by other realistic military shooter (Medal of Honor, Call of Duty and Battlefield), Valve has seriously dodged a bullet by not going that route (especially when the GoldSource Engine started to feel archaic and outdated by the time it would come out).

Also the Commander class was going against TF's gameplay style as one player would take too much authority in a class based shooter where team synergy is about everyone having a small yet equal role between Scouts, Heavy Weapon Guy and Spies among others, this isn't a tactical FPS.

Finally removing grenades was also the best thing to do in TF2, too much 'nade spam would've ruined many maps.
