Happy Friday, all! We've got five games and five conferences tonight in a heater of a slate. Here's what I'm watching for:

Florida State at Louisville, 7 pm ET (ESPN):

Can Louisville get back on track with explosives? The Cardinals are elite at creating explosive plays, generating eight 50+ yard gains this year. Florida State was susceptible to allowing those explosive gains against SMU and Alabama but defense has since improved. Another thing to watch when Louisville has the ball is pressure. Lincoln Kienholz has been sacked 10 times in losses but 0 times in wins.

Iowa at Washington, 9 pm ET (FOX):

Is this a "first to 20 wins" scenario? Iowa's ability to muck up games is well-documented. They've already had two wins this season without scoring more than 20. Washington was expected to be a dynamic offense under Demond Williams Jr. this year, but the Huskies have fallen flat through five games. Most points they've score vs. FBS competition is 24. Curious to see Washington's o-line vs. Iowa's defensive front. Huskies have allowed 12 sacks in the past two weeks.

Washington State at Utah State, 9 pm ET (The CW):

Can Washington State jumpstart the passing attack? Moving through the air has been a struggle for Wazzu this year, but it did create a 14-0 lead on Arizona thanks to a positive passing game. Caden Pinnick threw for 241 yards that game, and that's the only time the Cougars have managed more than 10 points vs. FBS competition this year. Utah State hasn't been the best pass defense, ranking 102nd and allowing a near-perfect performance by Maddux Madsen last week.

Wyoming at San Jose State, 9 pm ET (CBSSN):

Do Wyoming's road offensive woes continue? Cowboys looked great against Hawaii two weeks ago, but winning on the road has been a struggle. They're 0-3, being outscored 87-23 away from Laramie. There will be a significant disparity between the passing games in this one, as San Jose State has thrown for over 230 every game, while Wyoming only averages 143 passing yards per game.

Iowa State at BYU, 10:15 pm ET (ESPN):

How deep is BYU at the skill positions? Star running back LJ Martin is out. The Cougars struggled offensively when he went down last week, scoring just 17 on TCU and finishing 11/24 for 62 yards in the passing game (no receiver had more than 22 yards). Without Martin as the centerpiece, can Preston Rex and Journee Tonga do enough in the run game to keep this offensive dangerous? Do they have a receiver besides Legend Glasker capable of taking over games?
