8 Month Pictures

I know that you are all waiting so I did some pictures today, Cami wan't very smiley or attentive since she is still recovering and I was not as patient as I should be since I am still recovering, I think it really helped me value good health. We are hardly ever sick, and it is definitely not fun, so I have much to be grateful for that we are on the mend and we are not usually sick! I know you are all wondering when we will tell you what we are doing in the fall, but I don't have any news yet. We will hopefully know for sure by April 15th. In the mean time we are seriously looking at Baylor, which is in Waco, Tx.
I am sad that one of the few smiles I got today was blurry, but I liked it anyway so here it is.
She always has to have something in her mouth so it is tricky to get smiles :)
I don't think she has ever touched the grass before so here was the introduction.

grass again...
What was that? this was right after touching the grass...
Little feet :)

8 Months!

I know I say this pretty much every month, but I can't believe she is another month older. I meant to do pictures but Cami got sick on her 8 month birthday so they will have to wait till she, and I feel better. These are just some that we have that are most recent. She is crawling everywhere now and trying to climb up on everything! She sits up really well and rolls so much it makes changing her diaper a crazy adventure. She is such a little one and I am always trying to see if she will eat more, but my mom reminds me that with JD and I for parents we could't really expect a big baby. I am sure that a big part of it is that she is so busy all the time, she just does not sit still. It makes church a little tricky, she is so good, not fussy just very active! The only time she is still is when she is very tired. JD and I are lucky to have such a mild good baby. She is very sweet and smiley and loves to be the center of attention. Stay tuned for pictures, but it may be a few days before she feels well enough to smile for me and not have a runny nose for the picture :)
Here is my cute baby!!! She is trying to climb up on Daddy.
Little blurry since she is aways moving, but a good picture of her sitting up.
This is her serious face, we had just got our new camera, and I think she was trying to decide what she thought about it.
So until later, hope all is well with you and yours!

Baby Proofing

Recently Cami has become increasingly more mobile... So JD got creative with wood and stain and some hardware and created a cabinet to cover the computer next to the TV and hide the cords. So far it has helped. Doesn't it look great?
Here is JD hard at work!
These are just some pictures of us messing around with our camera. It is fun to experiment with it and the different settings!
This is just a funny eating picture that I really liked! Cami is such a funny baby!
She is so curious and so cute!

Idaho!!!

This past week we were able to go to Idaho! It was so fun to spend a few days with family, we did some shopping, watched some movies, played some games and just relaxed! It was so nice! Cami especially enjoyed all the attention!
These pictures are unfortunately out of order and I am not patient enough to fix it... :) This was a meal at the Redds
We got to spend a little time with our buddies the Hickenloopers! I cannot believe how big Ainsley is! She is so cute!!!! Cami had a little hair envy for Ainsley....unfortunately for Ainsley.

Kisses for everyone...pretty sure she just wants to eat their faces, but we will pretend they are kisses.

In the zone....too many pictures I am sure... I think the rising generation may have some issues with vanity.
playing with Aunt Leonora... we got to celebrate her birthday!
Ready for church with Anna
We went to Idaho so that JD could go to a law conference hosted by a firm in IF for admitted students to U of I. It was a good experience and I am glad we went.
Hangin at the Egberts

Shopping with Grandma Egbert- I took this with my phone :)
