Here we are in Idaho!

June 11th we headed north and drove through the day and night and into the morning and made it to Idaho! We will be here for the next 9 weeks while JD completes an externship with the county prosecutors office in Idaho Falls. He started on Thursday last week and so far is enjoying keeping busy and is learning lots already. Cami and I have been having lots of fun playing with Nana and just being with family. Here are some pictures of some new loves Cami is discovering. Today we went to storytime at the library and then to the greenbelt to feed the ducks, here is a little video of her feeding the ducks.
Cami loves JD's old remote control car, more than baby dolls...
Cami loves the trampoline. She usually tells me and Nana to "cmon"
Friday we had a welcome to Idaho BBQ- Grandpa said it was for the return of the prodical son (JD) Here is a picture with Anna and I. Thursday Jenna cut and highlighted my hair! I totally love it, sorry I didn't take a good before picture, but Jenna took some good ones and posted them on facebook!
Cami loves cheese puffs, she found the bag and dug in with both hands before we caught her.
 See my cheesy fingers :)
 A beautiful Idaho sunset!
Happy Father's Day! I know this is late, but I hope all the wonderful fathers out there had a wonderful day! I am so grateful for my wonderful Dad who taught me a love of learning and how to work hard and helped me learn to have fun and love games! Plus set an amazing example about service and love. I am also super grateful for JD and what a wonderful father he is to Cami. He is often more patient then I am with her and is so concerned about her and gentle with her. He is such a fun sweet daddy and I often watch them wrestle and giggle together and think how very lucky I am!
Our father's day family photo didnt work so great since I tried to do it right after church before nap time...
I am also grateful for another wonderful father in our lives, JD's dad! He is so fun and sweet to little Cami and did such a wonderful job raising such a great son!
 Daddy Daughter photo!
Nana and I made these cute cake pops for the welcome home bbq on Friday. So fun and cute...and yummy too, even if I say so myself :)
More playing on the trampoline pictures, she loves to bring all sorts of things on the tramp.

Memorial Day and other stuff

After our San Antonio trip if was back to work.. I worked 6 out of the next 8 days and just finished Friday morning. It was busy and I wouldn't have made it without my wonderful husband who did all the dishes and cleaned and did laundry and entertained Cami so I could sleep.
Cami loves to wear my high heels!

I did have Memorial Day off in the middle of all that working, and we had a fun morning hanging out with some friends from the ward, the Denhams. They invited us to play at the pool and had a picnic and came over and played some games. That night we cooked up some hamburgers and had a movie picnic in the living room!

San Antonio

I know it has been a while since I updated but on May 21st we went on a trip to San Antonio. We really enjoyed exploring more of Texas. Here are lots of pictures to illustrate~!
We stopped at Hamilton Pools outside of Austin on our way to San Antonio. It is a beautiful grotto/preserve. Cami had fun splashing around and seeing the "fishies" in the water. I loved the waterfall and how the grotto walls trapped in all the cool air!

Cami hiked most of the way in and out, which is about 1/2 mile all told. She sure is a trooper!

Next stop the Alamo. I really loved learning more about the history behind  "Remember the Alamo".

Cami enjoyed playing with the cannons...
We explored the beautiful Riverwalk. It is really amazing how pretty and busy that place is. There are tons of restaurants and even a mall on the Riverwalk. We ate at a restaurant there that night.

Cami loved the pool at our hotel and we snuck in a swim before dinner, she kept running and jumping off the sides and giving her mother heart attacks trying to race to catch her!
Silly us we went to see the temple on Monday night so the grounds and everything were closed... so just far away shots, but it is a beautiful temple!
Tuesday we went to Seaworld. Cami loved the Bay of Play with the Seasame Street Show. Bert and Ernie are so nice to pose for everyone!
Cami's first ride...lets just say it might have been one of the worst ideas ever, we rode a ferris wheel which equals lots of waiting time, and Cami is not so good with the waiting game... we had a complete meltdown....
 Shamu show!!! It was awesome!

 Scary shark...oooo
I loved the sea lion show, it was so funny. Cami actually did very well with all the shows.
We went to a 4D Seasame Street movie, Cami mostly liked it minus getting squirted by water...
Wednesday we hit up the San Antonio Zoo. It is a nice zoo and there was a lot we were just too worn out to really get into it... too much partying  :)
 can you see him?
Hippos! I was excited to see these guys!
 Big snake...yuck

JD got a bird on the head..
Here are some videos for your enjoyment!
We got to feed the dolphins! So fun!
Cami got to meet Zoe!

Had to get a good killer whale video!

At the San Antonio Zoo.. Elephant doing tricks!
