Alicia's Homecoming

Today was Alicia's Homecoming!

So great to have so many come.

Alicia opened her treasures she brought home from Chile.  Here is an apron a sister made and gave to her.

An alpaca sweater, a mate drink cup, shells, candy,

and a darling Nativity!

Christmas

On Christmas Eve day we went to see Mary Poppins, then picked up our Santa Tree to decorate, then ate at a new restaurant, "TemptAsian", then sang as we set out our Nativity.                           We used tell the kids they had to wait until 8:00 to get started, now we have to get everyone up to get started.  

Brett had to work Christmas Eve and Christmas might so we needed to keep on schedule.  

Here we go!

Alicia got a new phone after her mission.

and Dad a set of pickle ball paddles so we can all play.

The best fun was following clues to find 4 parts to make 2 paddles that led to the 2 Two Man kayaks hidden under the motor home.  Roger found these stolen and stashed kayaks while walking above Evergreen Park.  Between him and the police, they couldn't determine where they came from so after 3 months, he got to keep them!

The best part of my day was having the Spanish Sister Missionaries over here for their "Skype" calls

home on Christmas Day.

We invited them to join us for fried french toast.  Also invited Williams, Jorge and Gabe. 

It felt so great to share Christmas Day with others!  These 5 are all away from their families. 

Gabe didn't even get any presents to open so I was glad we had wrapped something up for everyone.

Alicia invited her friends over for a get together now that so many of them are home.  Cassidey, McKayla and Elise couldn't come.  Jessie and her date left before pictures.  

Jason and Amy (and Kayleigh and Melissa) went with Josh and Alicia to the Hot Springs at Saratoga.  Josh and Alicia dipped entirely under in Utah Lake so her hair was frozen!
