Okay, so I decided to join in. Here is what you do...
1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember! If we're only blogging friends, write about a post that is the most memorable for you.
2. Next, if you feel so inclined, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you leave a memory about me, I'll be sure to write one about you...!

u is also for update
i realized i'm a kind of when-it-rains-it-pours-blogger.... so a lot has happened in my past little while. now im to the place i don't know where to start.
i guess i can go chronologically:
early june:
we bought a house. well, closed on the house. have you ever bought a house? they give you a stack of papers the size of a dictionary and have you sign your FULL name on each paper. sometimes you have to ALSO initial on each paper.
here's my biggest problem with that: i NEVER sign my middle name, or initial. and when i try to stop and put something in between my first and last name, i can't make the first letter of my last name. i CAN'T. i can't start it, therefore, I'm stuck. it's WEIRD and ANNOYING. so i signed my first name left a gap, then last name, then went BACK and signed my middle name. i felt pretty dumb having to do it, but i couldn't make it work any other way. how weird is that? my initials were a slight problem as well. luckily my first and middle initials are the same letter, so i was able to sign my initials, then add another letter to the front. OH BROTHER.
middle june:
my sister moved. SAD DAY. i used to visit her EVERY WEDNESDAY for the past two years. her kid is what i like to call "my vicarious child". i know him so well. better than any other niece or nephew. i wish i knew them all that well, but since i was there so often i got to know him so well. and now i feel like i've lost a child. ok, maybe not that bad, but its still sad. so before they moved they stayed at my apartment for 3 days. it was a lot of fun, but stressful too. it felt like we were ripping the band-aid off more slowly this way. it was upsetting to take her to the airport, not to mention her kids weren't in the best of moods, which made it harder. and sadder. but then....
early july:
we went to denver to visit my sister! hooray! it was a lot of fun and i got to see my mom's mom, and my dad's mom and sister, and my brother. we have tons of family in denver which i think made the move a little easier for my sister, then she wasn't TOTALLY alone.
we watched fireworks near my brother's house, and lit some off in his front yard because his kids are 7 and 5 and are just getting into liking to do it themselves. the only thing is, they are girls (he actually has 4 girls) and being girls, they tend to be a little more scared of things. the older one cries over everything, just like i did when i was little. and the younger one is pretty tough mostly, but she was chickening out holding the sparklers. so i had to take one from her in the middle of it burning. they are ADORABLE girls. i'm pretty jealous i don't live closer. how much fun would that be? a lot. i'm telling you. :) but we swam in the pool at my sister's apartment complex, and played in the sprinklers in my brother's back yard and over all, had a lot of fun.
~funny side note: when we got picked up from the airport my nephew came w/his dad. same when we were dropped off. if you have ever driven to or from the denver airport you would know there is a "broncos" statue right outside of it. only this is no ordinary statue. it is all blue w/orange eyes (those are broncos colors). when my nephew saw it, he knew it was a horse and he made the noise of a horse, then growled. on the way back to the airport, we said "look at the horsey" he made no horse noise this time, just growled and pointed out the window. it was HILARIOUS! i IS a pretty creepy statue~
now here it is, mid july:
