Once, there was this wealthy and famous man and his ever loyal servant. The servant has worked for him for four years and he has been so truthful to his master. Thus, it was not difficult for the master to trust his assistant.

However, drought and famine came one day to their town and the scarcity of food and water was endemic. Having served his master for a long time, the servant knew that the master has a secured vault in the master's temple where he hoarded food that they can consume, should a catastrophe happen.

But the master was prudent. He knew that if they consume their stocks at once, it would not suffice their need and it would not last long. He then called the attention of his dear servant.

"I would be leaving for two weeks to collect more supplies and more food. While I am gone, I would entrust you the security of our storage room", the master said. He then explained in detail his rationale for leaving and left a few more reminders.

"I truly understand your purpose, master. I know you are doing this for our survival. I still have my own stocks of food and water which could last for a couple of weeks. As a sign of my loyalty to you, I give you my word that I would not ever attempt to eat or drink anything from our storage room. If I do, our supplies may not last for long", the servant said with a firm stand.

"Alright then. I adore your loyalty to me. I know I can trust you. In return, I promise to give you my temple once I get back provided that you would stick to your promise. I will then be your servant after".

Then the wise man went on his quest. The servant was left alone in the temple.

In the middle of his two-week quest, the wise man received a letter from his servant.

"Master, I regret to inform you that I failed you. I was weak and fell easily to the temptation of opening the vault. I ate the food inside. I thought I could control myself, but it was really hard and the pressure of resisting the temptation stressed me more. I am so sorry for what I have done. I am ready to receive any punishment you may bestow upon me"

While on his way back to the temple, a heavy cloud of thought was running in the master's mind. He was of course disappointed. He had his full trust and confidence on his servant. He has been loyal to him ever since. However, it made him wonder his confidence to the man. Does this man deserve to inherit my temple? How can I entrust him the years to come if he has not been true to his pledge for just a week? What if is tempted again? What if he is tempted again to something more grand? And what punishment does he deserve?

When he arrived home, the master handed a small box to his servant. The servant opened the box and inside was the temple's key.

"I know you have not been true to your word, you have been weak and so am I. All of us has our weaknesses and that makes us human. If I was in your position, I would have done the same thing of opening the vault and eating food from inside in order to survive. You have been wise, my friend. What's inside that room  is primordial to your survival. If you have not done what you have done, you could have died of hunger and no one will guard our vault while I was away. Thus it was wise of you to have done what you did".

"Master, I don't understand".

"It was you who offered your pledge, not me. At the very beginning, I knew your own food supplies would not last long enough and I knew that you would definitely open the vault in order to survive. It appreciate your courage to consider your pledge and tried your very best to resist the temptation. Your honesty was what I really tested. Thank you for being honest with me. Your truthfulness and repentance is what proved that you deserve my trust. I therefore entrust you my temple. Let me be your servant now, my Master..."

OK. So medyo natagalan bago ako nakabalik d2 sa blogspot. Medyo naging busy lang lately. Pero Im back! weeeee....

Anu nga bang bago sa akin? Uhmm... Bagong CP. I love you Perris!

Bukas na ang last day of work ko before my bakasyon grande! Absenan ko kaya? chos! ahahaha.

Nakakarindi na ang panahon dito. Last week, isang linggong di nagpakita ang araw. Late nga this year eh, so @Yas and @Daddy Nox, wala akong maiuuwing snowflakes! ahehehe. Dandruff flakes na lang, ganun din yun! :D

CHOS!

Daddy Nox!!! Finally, makakasama na kita! weeee! alam na! Charoth!

Pero before ko i-re experience ang mahal kong Manila, mag 3-day bakasyon muna ako sa isang lugar na matagal ko nang pangarap puntahan:

Dad, I promise, ibubulsa ko yung tower!
