CHRISTMAS IN COLUMBUS
We had quite a few fun pre Christmas activities here in C-bus before we headed off to Utah.
Dental Wives Dinner at Cheesecake Factory - there were quite a few people who had already left out of town so we missed them. 5 of us in this group are all expecting!
Dinner at PF Chang's to help Dave celebrate turning 32!!
My friend Lacy in our ward hosted an ornament exchange it was really fun and as you can see there were some really cute ornaments and a few let's say uh different ones? We had fun chatting it up and eating some yummy food.
Our friends the Andertons hosted an Adult (no kids) party and it was a blast. We did a white elephant exchange - the gifts were hilarious. My favorite was the old yet working scanner.
We played a really fun card game called Blitz - the winner won a bunch of money. Can you tell who the winner might have been? He doesn't look excited at all does he?

CHRISTMAS IN UTAH!!
Sherri's youngest brother Darren turned 19 and we were so glad we could celebrate with him. We can not believe how old he is and that he will be going on a mission soon - so crazy!!
Before Christmas Eve we had Sherri's family party at the church - everyone loves hanging out and playing basketball!
Sherri's dad and his siblings and their families - we missed everyone that couldn't be there!
Sherri's cousin recently had triplets and these 2 boys were cheesing it up, Sherri and her sister could not get enough of them!!!
One of the highlights of our trip was being able to find out what we were having. We went early Christmas Eve morning and we couldn't have asked for a better Christmas present - thanks Uncle Bob!!

Christmas Eve at Sherri's house.
Her mom has told them the Christmas story on this flannel board since they were little. Now that everyone is grown her mom thought she would get out of it but we never let her....it never gets old!!
Another tradition at the Later household is the infamous treat table. "Santa" leaves all these goodies out Christmas day and his elves magically refill it until New Years. Quite a dangerous tradition but we all love it. It's the first thing we run to Christmas morning!
Christmas with Sherri's family -
they spoiled us and we had so much fun. Our little man got his first gift....his first U of U
t- shirt. He hasn't got a chance between the Utes and OSU he will have to like football! My mom has a tradition of giving us all new ornaments every year this year Shayne got a golf bag and clubs for his - very fitting since he is now obsessed! Also the quilt Sherri is holding was handmade for her by our sister in law Kasey - she is soooo talented and Sherri was so excited to homemade quilt since she has never had one before!
We did a lot of really fun activities with both our families and of course were too busy having fun to take pics for most of it.
Sherri's baby bump at 20 weeks for all of you have been asking.

They spoiled us as well. Our best surprise was giving Shayne tickets to the Sugar Bowl with some friends. He was shocked and literally speechless, it was too fun! He is a hard one to surprise!
Christmas night visiting Shayne's dad's family.
These are is half brothers and sister but you wouldn't know it - they all look so much alike!
We wish we got to see the more than just once a year!
Shayne's nieces made our little man this cute blanket - thanks guys!
It was fun to start getting baby stuff it made it seem a little more real.
Luckily we had Shayne's mom's dogs to keep us company since we had to leave ours home. We really missed them - thanks to Taralyn, Peggy and Rachel for watching them!!
Look at those ears - what dog does that? So weird!
I never seemed to have my camera for most things but we had tons of fun with Shayne's parents after we left Sherri's house. Lots of dinners, movies, games and bowling again. We went up to Park City for some shopping one day and dinner on Main Street - it doesn't get any better!
We wish we would have had more time to see our friends - sorry to those we didn't get to see.
New Years Eve we spent with our best friends Paul and Em and of course didn't take one pic. We went to their annual fondue party and then played games - we miss you guys!!
The top pic all 3 are prego and due within 2 weeks of each other!
Bottom pic are Sherri's 2 good friends (Bo and Sarah) from highschool they cheered together and she always loves seeing them!
Can you believe we made it home without one of these? If Sherri wasn't pregnant she probably would have pushed for one. Sherri had fun visiting one of her best friends April all day. She was bummed they couldn't spend more time together. April's sister's Rotweiler just had 10 puppies so they had fun playing with them!
After New Years, Shayne took off to New Orleans and Sherri headed back to Columbus!
Thank goodness one of the guys took pics cause Shayne of course left his camera at the hotel.
He had a blast and it was an awesome game especially since OSU won. Shayne came home and had lost his voice. He didn't get is back for almost a week!!
We had a great Christmas and were so blessed to be able to spend it with so many family and friends - can't wait to see you all again!
