Friday night I babysat the Smith kids. Thiago had a soccer game to make up that night so he wasn't home. So it was just me and 6 kids. Needless to say, these are the only 2 pictures I got. I was hoppin. Miss K is one busy girl Jen, I don't know how you keep up with her. All ended well though, and the kids had the best time.
Saturday my mother in law took my 2 big boys with her to a birthday party, where Cars came home looking like this...
Yikes! Quite the face painting isn't it. He thought it was pretty cool. However, it was kinda hard to get off. We scrubbed and scrubbed, however the next day he totally looked like he was wearing eye liner. It was weird and kinda embarrassing, considering we were at church. Oh well.
So that left just us and the little one. We had tickets to the Real Salt Lake game, so we dressed up the tiny babe and headed down to Salt Lake.
Just us three out on another date. How lucky is this baby, always getting to tag along with us. Reminds me of earlier days when it was just us and a baby Carson. Crazy.
We stopped in Bountiful to eat at Mo Bettah's, and as we came back out we were greeted with this....rain, rain, rain. Way too much rain.
Had it been just us, I maybe would have toughed it out. However, I wasn't about to have my baby catch his death out there. Too cold and wet. So we went home, met up with my brother and sister in law and watched the "A-Team". Which was a stupid movie.
Thiago liked it, I hated it. Not my style.
On to Memorial Day. It was so laid back this year. No graves, no family, like we usually do.
Instead we packed up a few things and headed over to a BBQ with a couple of our neighbors.
Where I took this one picture. Carson and Owen eating. And that is it. Sometimes you are just not in the mood for pictures. It was such a nice day though. Super relaxing and laid back. We have such fun neighbors and we all have kids right around the same age so they all had a blast. Thanks Hunsakers and Hoopes.
I felt bad we didn't visit any graves this year, so I came up with an idea. We bought some cheapy flowers at the grocery store...
we seperated them...
and since we are within walking distance from our city's cemetary, we headed on over.
We had a little reminder on what Memorial Day means and then I told the boys to be on the lookout for any grave sight that didn't have any flowers. We then placed one of our little purple flowers on top of the grave. Wanted them to have a little something.
Carson obviously soaked this up and was upset that we didn't have more flowers.
And Lincoln obviously didn't participate and spent all of his time ripping windmills out of the ground. Don't ya love the helmet. Don't worry that he rode over in a stroller. I guess he figured he needed the extra protection. Actually, never mind....knowing this kid and all the trouble he gets into, maybe thats not such a bad idea. Lincoln will now wear helmets on all occasions.
Drake was just along for the ride.
Good times...
And thats that. I leave you with one more picture of the three little munchkins. Lincoln's goofy face and all!
