Christmas was Great!

Another Christmas come and gone...it's always a mix of emotions this time of year.  Another year is coming to an end and a new year will soon begin.  Once again, I had no idea what to get my kids for Christmas because they have everything they need.  We found a few things for each child and called it good.

I will say Facebook sure made me feel guilty, for a very brief moment.  Seeing a lot of friend's post pictures of their entire floor covered with gifts.  I had to remind myself that even though my kids only got a few presents, it didn't matter.  It's not what Christmas is all about.

Anyway, our family plugs along day by day.  Everyone had decent health this year, aside from Pat's Lupus.  He didn't end up in the ER once!  I think though, that last year's ER visits will make up for the next 8 years!!

Arianna is a big 10!  She seems to love school and swim.  She definitely is the big sis!

Alayna is my fast talker.  She is my tall, skinny child.  I was folding her clothes today and was so jealous that she wears a size 5 slim and even then the elastic in the waist was still cinched 2 inches on both sides.  Life isn't fair...for me anyway!

Kayla is finally potty trained!  I can't tell you how thrilled I am!!  She is my spit fire, but as sweet as they come.  I know I am going to enjoy her being my last child!

Does Anyone Know I've Posted?

Hello strangers!  It has been a LONG time since I've been on my blog.  I got caught up on all of you.  Sorry I've been a stranger.  Not much has happened exciting since my last post, but I like my life being a little boring.  The last time life was "exciting" was when I was in the ER the entire summer of 2011 and Pat ended up in the hospital for 2 months.  I like BORING!!

Life is good.  Pat is healthy considering he has Lupus.  Arianna will be 10 tomorrow...where did the time go???  Alayna is still talking about her birthday party and that isn't till March.  And Kayla just turned 3!  I am all out of babies here in this house...tear!

I am not sure when I will get back on my blog...I hardly ever get on the computer these days.  I have my Iphone for email and texts, but I just want to wish every one of you a MERRY CHRISTMAS!  Be safe and have a good holiday.

I'm Out of Habit

I know I made some goals on this blog, but I am seriously out of the habit of posting!  It will get better soon.  Arianna is almost finished with 4th grade which means we have a few major reports to get done.  I will post more often...I hope!

This and That!

Arianna has been enjoying Utah! She loves exploring the backyard ravine and loves to ride her bike in the neighborhood.

We had some friends visit from San Jose and took them up to see the snow. These girls love to throw snowballs!

Although Alayna is the "shy" child in the family, she doesn't act that way at home.

Kayla keeps getting bigger and bigger...makes me sad to think she's growing up. Over the past month, her vocabulary has kicked in and talks and talks and talks.

This was our first fire for the winter season. Things were definitely looking positive with Pat's health and life was getting back to normal!

It Stays

I figured I wouldn't get one comment that told me to close down my blog...don't know why I even asked the question. I am really slow at uploading my photos to my computer so I have a stash of them on my camera still. Goal 1: Upload pictures to computer. Goal 2: Update blog from months ago. Get ready people, it's gonna be a long month!

And it's Alayna's birthday this month too, so you'll all get to see how big she is getting!

I haven't posted in months...not because I don't like to, but because I got out of the habit of posting when Pat go sick.
