So, I finally got my wish and rearranged our funiture. We sold our leather couches (a sad moment actually) and bought this sectional. I like how everything is!



There's still so much to do...like paint, buy shelves, move more furniture around, by 2011 (my goals).

I can Stand!!

All the girls just smiling! It was crazy that I got all of them smiling at once!!




Little Kayla is just getting bigger and bigger! She went from crawling all over to pulling herself up on her knees to standing all within a week! It always amazes me how fast babies grow within the first 2 years of their lives.

Goals till 2011...

I figured if I post my goals for the next months, I will be more likely to accomplish them. They are:

*Organize closets/drawers (trash the trash)
*Move computer downstairs...with Pat's help
*Buy some nice bookshelves (to hide my books/DVDs/clutter)
**PAINT MY DINING AREA AND TV ROOM (this is a biggie since I stink at decorating)

#1...and be more kind...patient...and loving to my kids (this is a daily goal and ideas/suggestions are very welcome) not that I am mean, I just need to improve!

Kayla Bug!!

I can't believe Kayla is already 9 months old! She is so dang cute!! She loves to crawl everywhere and just recently she has been trying to climb the stairs (the first signs of climbing anyway). It's a little scary just because I cannot watch her every second. I have Alayna that needs some attending to.

Anyway, Kayla weighs a good 20 lbs (90th percentile) and is pretty long (90th). I can't ask for a more healthy baby!!

And by the way, her front teeth finally broke through. I posted a month or so ago mentioning that they were going to come through back then...nope. Poor child has been the worst of my kids with teething!

3rd Grade Here I Come!

My mom's name is Dorothy, but people call her Dot. Pat and I saw this car driving next to us a few weeks ago and thought of my mom. I wonder if this is what she will be driving at 85!

Book, Books, and More Books!

Summer time is the time where I get more time to read! So far, I have read...9 books going on 10! My favorite by far has been Hunger Games and Catching Fire (the first two books in a series of three, the third doesn't come out till the 24th).

Anyway, it's been an enjoyable summer thus far. Arianna has one more week left of summer before school starts! She is excited! I can't believe I will have a 3rd grader...I'm starting to feel old!
