not sure if I want to do this...I have to though...it is part of being a US citizen...maybe I won't get chosen...maybe I won't even have to show up...I am going to make the best of it...whatever happens will happen!

January Goal Update

Well...my goal is looking like it isn't going to be accomplished. Way to start off a new year! I guess I shouldn't have set a goal that had to be accomplished by the actions of someone else. I will have to tell you, even though I haven't been able to get my gym membership, I have been walking up the hill by my house 3 times a week. PLUS...I have started sprinting up the hill 2 days a week.

The idea of the gym pass was to get going on exercise...so although my goal was not reached, the reasons for the goal were.

Now...what should I do for the month of February? I have my ideas!

Someone is going to be another year older...

Tomorrow is my sister's birthday...Happy Birthday Amy! I sure have been blessed to have Amy in my life. I have learned many life lessons from her...I have been watching her for a long time...she is my older sister! Hope your day is spectacular!! Love you and miss you...Ang

Goal Update...

Well, I have yet to get my membership. In my defense, I have to go with Pat since his work gives Pat a free membership and I only have to pay 22 a month. BUT, I am exercising at least 3 times a week.

I also decided to try to up my energy level by going to bed by 10:30...so far so good...but for some reason I feel more tired? I think my body is still used to getting up with an infant and isn't used to getting 6-7 hours of uninterrupted sleep! I wish I could say 7-8 hours of sleep, but Kayla has made her point: she's a 5:00 am riser! I used to complain when Arianna would wake up at 6:00. I've learned my lesson to be happy with what you get because sometimes it's better than what could be...

Dove Chocolate!

Santa Claus brought me Dove Chocolates this year. I love everything about these chocolates...especially the little quotes each wrapper has. I came across this quote and just laughed:

Just wanted to post another picture of the snow...so beautiful!

Here's Arianna! You'd think this picture was take after skiing...nope...before!

We got to ski with Aunt Amy, Uncle Niel, Conner, & Stockton. Arianna loves spending time with cousins...she wants to move back to Utah so bad.

Alayna with a smile. She had a hard time on this trip. Alayna is definitely a home body. She got sick while in Utah and just wanted to come home. I know she had fun!

Another Milestone...

Kayla is walking now!

She would take about 2-3 steps before we left to Utah for vacation.

She pretty much learned to walk in Utah.
Grandmas and Grandpas got to see. They were happy since they live far away!

Here is Kayla doing her "reach". She learned that every time she reached her had up, someone was there to grab it and help her walk!

Skiing!

I LOVE the snow...Skiing was so fun, cold, but fun!

Arianna got to take a ski lesson this year...she did great! She really loved skiing. I am saddened that we don't live closer to snow for her to take lessons consecutively!

Like I mentioned above...it was a very cold day! Isn't that usually how it is in my case!?!?

Books, Clothes, & Hats!

Books are always a welcomed gift in our home!

Arianna is already wanting to be "stylish". I am glad she is required to wear uniforms to school otherwise I doubt we'd make it on time.

Alayna got a few Olivia books...she loves Olivia!

I love Kayla in this hat! It was actually suppose to be for Arianna, but it did not fit Arianna's head. It then was going to be for Alayna's head...didn't fit either. Kayla got it!

A New Year...A New Me?

I'm back...from by blog break...from vacation...from 2010...to 2011!

Ive been thinking a lot about goals for the year...not sure I really want to make any. I sometimes feel when I make goals in the beginning of the year, I tend to not quite make it to March with a lot of them.

So I am going to have one goal in mind for the new year...

Set 1 goal at the beginning of the month and try to accomplish it by the end.
(really there will be 12 goals accomplished by the end of the year)

Once again, I am going to share my monthly goal on my blog so I can be held accountable at the end of the month by all of you...encouragement!

January's goal: Get to the gym at least 2 times a week.
(in reality, this one goal has extra goals attached to it; I actually have to go and sign up for the membership)
