5 Month Old Kayla

Kayla is so dang cute! Out of all my kids, Kayla is the child who is the most calm. This is good and bad at the same time. Good because she hardly ever fusses, but bad because I have yet to hear her really giggle loud. She is just so calm.

Kayla smiles a lot even though sound rarely escapes her mouth. There are mixed opinions on who Kayla looks like; Alayna with darker features, or Arianna. I would say she looks more like Arianna did as a baby, but all 3 girls have their own look.

I love this picture of Kayla. It truly shows most of everything about her. The hair is usually like this hair in the picture, Kayla loves to roll all over the room since she's been able to roll over, and she is pretty much calm like this photo. I love her big brown eyes.

I am so blessed to have her!

Disneyland Trip

Usually we take a family trip to Disneyland during the summer. Well, this year we decided to go over Arianna's spring break. It was still crowded, especially on Saturday, but the weather was perfect.
Here's Kayla. She was a good baby while we all had fun! She enjoyed the fun mostly in the stroller. Isn't Kayla so cute!?!?

Alayna couldn't go on the some of the rides Arianna wanted to go on so she enjoyed climbing on the play structures. She actually got a terrible rash from the sunscreen I put on her. It was really good sunscreen too. Poor kid. She survived and had a good time.

Arianna really wanted to get a picture with Stitch. She had her picture taken with some on the other Disney characters, but waited and waited for this snap shot.

Alayna loves Mickey and Mini Mouse. She was really shy when it came to taking pictures with them though. Oh well!

Look at the Jaramillo Clan! Don't we look lovely? We had a great time and will be looking forward to going back! Might as well, we live no too far and some day we may not be living so close.

Look Who Turned 2!

Alayna is now 2 years old! You'll notice she is wearing mostly dresses...she hates wearing pants, shorts, or anything that covers her legs.

Alayna got these Mini Mouse pj's for her birthday! She looks so cute in them!

Funny how kids eat the frosting off of cake first. At least my kids do...even Arianna does to this day. Anyway, Happy Birthday Alayna!!

A Simple Joke

Pat was sitting on the bleachers while watching Arianna swim a few weeks ago. He heard one of the other swimmers tell this joke and then told it to me. I love to laugh and this joke made me laugh.

Q: What do you call a cow with no legs?

A: Ground Beef

New Age, New Tooth, and A New School

New Age: Alayna turned 2 years old! I have pictures for everyone to see, but I haven't put them on my computer yet. Soon! We celebrated with dinner and cake! Presents were sent from family and Alayna had a blast opening them. 2 already...makes me sad!

New Tooth: Kayla got her first tooth yesterday. My kids always get teeth earlier than most babies...it's always a milestone for that first tooth, but it doesn't make nursing much fun!

New School: Arianna will probably be attending a new school next year. She isn't happy about this at all. See, before I had any new little babies, I taught preschool at Arianna's elementary. It was perfect for her to attend there because I worked there. Well, I don't teach anymore and we were denied a request to be transfered to that school (we reside in a different district)...we appealed the denial and were denied a second time. It has been such a long process up to this point and we can appeal the second denial, but it is now at the county level and I am not sure we even have a chance. Do I do it? Do we accept the NO answer? I'm just frustrated!

Such is life!!
