I am excited to start this new part of my life. I am still sad about leaving California, but I know things will be fine. Of course this is not our furniture, but isn't the house awesome!?!? I am so happy to finally have a yard where I can plant a garden (specifically tomatoes). Just thought I would post a few pictures.

No More Monkeys Jumping on The Bed

I find this song silly and fun...UNTIL my little monkeys actually do it! There I was getting ready for church on Sunday by myself since Pat was at meetings and Kayla starts jumping on the bed. "Sit down!" I say to her. Kayla sits down, with a bounce! I continue to get ready. "Boing boing boing" I hear again. "Get off the bed and stop jumping Alayna!" I say. Alayna decides to lay on the bed. At this point, Kayla starts to stand on the edge of the bed getting ready to jump. I know Kayla is going to fall off the bed since she is right on the edge so I start running into the bedroom...

TOO LATE, she falls off the bed and into the toy box hitting her head in the process.

On a side note, I asked Alayna to get her church shoes on...she somehow smacked her face/under her eye on the shoe bin and got bruised. Two out of three kids with bruises on their faces all before church. Not good not good!

News...

This may come as a shock to some of you...We are...

MOVING to UTAH!!

Let me tell you how excited I am. My girls will be able to play with their cousins...grow up close to both grandparents...of course Utah is where I grew up so I automatically have an idea of where things are! I love snow, so you won't hear me complaining about that when the time comes. I have missed the huge mountains Utah has...so beautiful.

HOWEVER...

I am sad! Sad about so many things. I have grown to love California. I am not a person who can sit out in the sun, but I am going to miss the beach. The weather is usually always sunny so there will be days I am going to miss that. I am going to miss the diversity out here...there is no place like the bay area!

I have grown to truly love my ward and friends out here. I was talking to a friend in Utah while we were out closing on our house and I told her, "I feel like I just want to leave and not say anything to anyone because if I start talking about moving, I am not going to be able to finish without crying!" Now I don't think I will cry, in front of people, but I do know it is going to be hard. Hard to just talk about it. I am really sad to leave my dear friends...you all know who you are!

Well, there's my news. We plan to move back in June!

I don't know what it's going to be yet, but I promise, I will figure it out.

My goals for March ended up decent.

I checked a book about Parenting out of the library to read...haven't finished, but started.
I definitely did more with my children, more than usual.
I have been teaching Alayna about life and things as we live life. We don't sit down and study, we go for walks and talk about nature, things like that.
