Here is my entry for the October Challenge over at Scrapbook Boutique

Test booked

CVS Test is booked in for Monday 28th November in Nambour. Cairns don't offer the test so we have to travel to Brisbane. Luckily there is a place on the Sunshine Coast so we can stay with Sue and Rob.

Not looking forward to the test but I know it has to be done.

First scan today

I did wonder if they would find anything in there today, but the ultrasound zoned in on it straight away. I thought it might've all been a mistake.

Tiny as it is, it is there. Today is 6 weeks and 1 day as predicted, so dates are all spot on.

It showed a hearbeat which surprised me - I didn't think it would be so early. Only saw it, didn't hear it - which I am glad about because I won't believe it's true until we have the CVS test in November to make sure everything is ok.

I'm still in total shock, especially after seeing it.

Wow I am honoured

I received an email this week from my friend Bec inviting me to be a DT member on Scrapjacked. I am chuffed and honoured.

Miracles do happen

Got the blood test results from the doctors today at 2.30pm. (The urine test at the doctors on Saturday was negative)

I'm pregnant. Holy sweet jesus! How did this happen???!!! Murphy got me! All the doctors said it would not happen without help and it has.

I'm still waiting for the shock to wear off. Off to make appointment with obstetrician now - she might fall off her chair too.
