It all started with this photo below when we were on our way back from class. On the way we saw a pile of gas canisters scattering on the road side with the lorry carrying the Petronas gas canisters going overboard, I figured it lost control while making a 270 degrees turn going up the fly-over. I guess the heavy cargo load messed up with the physics giving mother nature and gravity it's fair chance to manifest it's wrath on the ridiculous fuel price hike.

I wanted to snap the shot but I was in a moving car, but Rheeno was on his bike and stopped on the road side snapping the photos, so I asked him to email me the photos to blog about it but then I submitted to The Star's Thumbnails instead just to give it a shot. After all, it's a chance for a RM50 giveaway.Amazingly, it got published in The Star on the 5th of September issue! But I never saw it because our rented house didn't have a subscription for The Star.

It was when I got back from class after and got a email from The Star asking for my idenfication number, name and address while congratulating me. It didn't occur to me at first that it was from the photo I sent a few weeks ago, I just realized it after seeing the email domain. I responded and yesterday I got the cheque the mailbox in the rented house in Melaka, imagine how psyched I was. I called up Rheeno and told him the good news and agreed to split the prize money.

Of course owing most of the credits to Rheeno for taking photos of the accident with his w810i.
Now... any idea where's the nearest Standard Charted bank in Batu Berendam Melaka to cash out? haha...Labels: laughs, photos, updates
