2021-2029
ESPN is the exclusive United States rights holder for LaLiga through the 2028-29 season and provides coverage of all 380 matches. Every game is streamed live in English and Spanish, with selected fixtures also appearing on ESPN's television and broadcast networks.

2022-2027
ESPN has secured the rights to the Spanish Super Cup in the USA. The Spanish Super Cup matches will be available not only on ESPN's streaming platform ESPN+ but also on the network's linear channels, including ESPN, ESPN 2, and ESPN Deportes. This comprehensive coverage ensures that fans can enjoy the excitement and drama of the Spanish Super Cup on their preferred ESPN platform, whether through streaming or traditional television channels.
2022-2027
ESPN holds a multi-year broadcast agreement with LaLiga for the rights to show more than half of all Copa del Rey matches available for the U.S. market. The contract, which began in 2022 and runs through the conclusion of the 2026-27 edition, allows the American network to stream and broadcast all matches assigned by LaLiga across both English and Spanish platforms, whether through linear television or digital streaming.

2024-2027
ESPN is an official media partner of the National Women’s Soccer League, acquiring broadcast rights to the NWSL in the USA from the 2024 season through the end of 2027. Under this deal, ESPN and its associated platforms handle live NWSL coverage across television and streaming services.
This rights deal was expanded mid-cycle in September 2025, with the ABC and ESPN networks securing weekly regular-season fixtures for the 2026 and 2027 seasons.

2024-2027
ESPN is an official U.S. national broadcaster of the USL Championship, the second-tier professional men’s soccer league in the United States. The sports network secured the rights to this division through the 2026 season under a multi-year renewal announced in early 2024. The agreement is part of a shared distribution model with CBS Sports, which serves as the league’s other national broadcast partner through 2027.

ESPN2 USA history, coverage, features
ESPN2 is a cable television channel in the USA, owned by ESPN. The channel was launched in 1993 and is used by ESPN as a secondary option for broadcasting its biggest sporting events.This was not always the case, as when it first launched, ESPN used ESPN2 to show coverage of lesser-known sports, such as billiards and lumberjacking. However, as ESPN's broadcasting rights have increased, ESPN2 now more commonly shows mainstream sports.
ESPN2 is considered the home of tennis, but live football has also been shown on the channel, including matches from Major League Soccer.
For Cable TV owners, ESPN 2 is available for live streaming through ESPN, which can be used with a subscription on either a web browser or a mobile phone app. For those without Cable TV, ESPN2 can be streamed on Fubo, Hulu+, Sling TV, DirecTV, and YouTube TV.
