About 3. Lig

History, Format, Organization, Media Coverage

TFF Third League, also known as the Turkish Football Federation Third League or TFF 3. Lig, is the fourth-tier league in Turkey. Founded in the 2001–02 season, this competition is run by the Turkish Football Federation and functions on a promotion/relegation system.

Come the end of each season, the top performers in this division earn promotion to the TFF Second League, Turkey’s third-tier league. The worst performers, on the other hand, get demoted to the Turkish Regional Amateur League, the country’s fifth tier.
