2025-2029
The BBC has retained non-exclusive FA Cup rights from 2025-26 to 2028-29 in the United Kingdom and Ireland, following a multi-year extension deal. As per its sub-licensing agreement with TNT Sports, which is owned by commercial broadcaster Warner Brothers Discovery (WBD), the BBC continues to provide free-to-air coverage of the FA Cup from the 2025-26 through the 2028-29 campaigns.

2026-2029
BBC Cymru Wales has agreed a new deal to broadcast live coverage of the Novira Cymru Premier League in the United Kingdom until the end of the 2028-29 season.
The deal, which was signed in the summer of 2026, includes the exclusive live rights to select matches each gameweek throughout each season.

BBC Wales is a free-to-air broadcaster in the United Kingdom that operates in Wales. The broadcaster, which was set up by the BBC in 1964, has two channels - BBC One Wales and BBC Two Wales. BBC Wales largely uses the same programming that is shown on the two main BBC channels across the rest of the United Kingdom. However, they can also deviate from this programming to show Welsh-specific content.Over the years, BBC Wales has had the broadcasting rights to show live football matches. This has included live FA Cup coverage and live matches from major international tournaments, such as the FIFA World Cup and UEFA European Championships.
Both of BBC Wales’ channels can be streamed live through the BBC iPlayer, which can be accessed for free through either a web browser or a downloadable app. The majority of programming on BBC Wales is in English, but some content is in Welsh.
