How to watch UEFA Champions League in Austria

DAZN has secured the rights to the UEFA Champions League in Austria, replacing Canal+ Austria as the primary broadcaster for most UCL games live. The major sports streaming service acquired these rights for the 2027-2031 TV cycle, with this four-year deal spanning the 2027-28 to 2030-31 seasons.

As a result, football fans in Austria can watch a total of 186 live UEFA Champions League games per season on DAZN Austria, including all Wednesday fixtures and all Tuesday matches except for the first-pick game, which will be exclusively available on the streaming platform.

DAZN broadcasts its live UCL match coverage as individual games and in a multiplex format—a “conference” with up to seven games simultaneously. This includes fixtures involving some of Europe’s biggest clubs, such as PSG, Real Madrid, Manchester City, and Barcelona, as well as Austrian teams should they qualify.

DAZN’s Champions League coverage in Austria is not limited to live games. The streaming platform also provides match highlights and replays of all DAZN-covered UCL fixtures.

DAZN Austria is a subscription-based streaming service, meaning that fans of European football must subscribe to access its UEFA Champions League coverage. Once subscribed, fans can stream the competition from a web browser using a PC or Mac, or by downloading the DAZN app.

The DAZN app is available for download on most internet-connected devices, including mobile phones and tablets (Android, iOS, and Amazon Fire Tablet). The streaming service is also available on most major TV brands (LG, Hisense, Panasonic, and Samsung), PlayStation 4-5, Xbox One S|X, and Xbox Series S|X. The application also supports Amazon Fire TV Stick and Chromecast.

DAZN and its UCL coverage are also available through distribution partnerships with major TV providers such as Sky Österreich, Magenta TV, and A1 Xplore TV; however, this is subject to change.
