How to watch La Liga in Iceland

Disney Plus owns the exclusive broadcast rights in Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Iceland for La Liga after securing a deal in the summer of 2026.

The deal is set to run for years, meaning football fans in the aforementioned Nordic countries can now stream all 380 matches from the Spanish top flight each season until the end of the 2029-30 campaign.

To stream La Liga coverage in the above territories, all fans must have an active paid subscription to Disney Plus. Several plans are available via the Disney Plus website and app, including options to pay on either a monthly or annual basis.

World feed commentary is available across all La Liga matches on La Liga in the Nordics, while local-language commentary and studio programming is available for the biggest matches, such as clashes between Real Madrid and Barcelona.

In addition to live matches, Disney Plus subscribers can also catch up on La Liga highlights, while full replays of each match remain on the platform for two weeks after they initially air.

To stream Disney Plus in Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Iceland, subscribers can download the Disney Plus app from the Google Play Store on an Android device or the App Store on an iOS device. Alternatively, subscribers can use the Disney Plus website on a browser.

DAZN operates the official LaLiga Channel worldwide through a two-season partnership covering 2025-26 and 2026-27. The channel is free to access globally and is available only on the DAZN platform.

Programming includes matchday highlights of every game, LaLiga-produced content, and additional non-live formats. The service is positioned alongside DAZN's existing football properties, which feature UEFA competitions, FIFA+ programming, Serie A, Bundesliga, and the J.League.

DAZN already holds live LaLiga rights in Spain and carries coverage in markets such as Portugal, Italy, Germany, Austria, Japan, and Belgium. The LaLiga Channel adds a global highlights package to those existing agreements.
