How to watch La Liga in France

Canal+ holds the official broadcast rights to the La Liga in France. The deal covers seasons 2024-2029.

DAZN has secured the broadcast rights to La Liga in France thanks to a three-year agreement struck with the Spanish Primera Division organizers in August 2026. This deal, following the historic 2026 FIFA World Cup tournament, took effect just before the 2026-27 campaign, covering the 2026-2029 TV cycle.

As a result, football fans in France can stream all La Liga games, plus any additional Spanish top-flight content on DAZN for the 2026-27, 2027-28, and 2028-29 seasons. This rights deal encompasses all 380 Spanish Primera División matches, including the league’s most iconic derbies and fixtures such as the Madrid Derby and El Clásico.

Viewers in France will be able to watch some of the biggest French players in action in La Liga weekly, with stars like Kylian Mbappé, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Eduardo Camavinga, Jules Koundé, and others featuring prominently in the Spanish top flight at the time of this rights agreement. DAZN’s La Liga live match coverage is available in French.

DAZN is a subscription-based streaming service, meaning French viewers must subscribe to the platform before streaming its Spanish top-flight coverage. Once subscribed, fans can stream La Liga games on the DAZN app or via its official website.

The DAZN app is available for download on most internet-connected devices, including mobile phones and tablets (Android, iOS, and Amazon Fire Tablet). The streaming service is also accessible on most major TV brands (LG, Hisense, Panasonic, and Samsung), as well as PlayStation 4-5, Xbox One S|X, and Xbox Series S|X. The application also supports Amazon Fire TV Stick and Chromecast.

DAZN’s La Liga coverage may also be available through distribution partnerships with major TV providers such as Orange, SFR, Free, Bouygues Telecom, and others; however, availability is subject to change. Therefore, subscribing directly to DAZN may be the best option for viewers.

Football fans in France can stream all La Liga games on the Disney+ streaming service, following the broadcaster's acquisition of co-exclusive broadcast rights to the Spanish Primera Division in one of Europe’s largest markets.

The Walt Disney Company-owned streaming service secured these rights in August 2026 through a three-year broadcast deal running through 2028-29. Under this arrangement, French viewers can stream all 380 games per season on Disney+, alongside DAZN, the other co-exclusive broadcaster that streams every fixture.

La Liga fixtures and additional Spanish Primera Division content are available in 1080p Full HD. This includes some of the most anticipated match-ups in Spanish football, such as the Madrid Derby and El Clásico, the iconic rivalry between the country’s two biggest teams, Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Disney+ is a subscription-based streaming service, meaning viewers must subscribe to stream La Liga on the Disney+ app or website. While third-party TV providers in France may offer ESPN and/or Disney+ integration, this is subject to change, making a direct subscription to the platform the most reliable option for access.

Once subscribed, viewers can download the Disney+ app on a range of internet-connected devices, including Chromecast and various TV platforms such as Apple, Samsung, LG, and Amazon Fire TVs.

Additionally, the app is accessible on Android phones and tablets, iPhones and iPads, Amazon Fire Tablets, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Subscribers can also stream live La Liga games on a PC or Mac via the streaming service’s official website.
