Chilies!

My chilies are big enough but the statement on the seeds packet : "It will turn red when matured"

I have to wait until it turn red? I can Wait but the white flies are in constant attack on my Chili plant! Can it survive and give me red chilies?

I received a mail letter from J.C . The mail was attached with 3 kind of seeds and an artistic card! Wow! I thought i will receive Marigold seeds alone but there were Adenium and Sunflower too!

Orange Jasmine

 

I have a pot of Orange Jasmine or Murraya Paniculata. They grow tall but very slim. May be i need to prune it. Their flowers are so fragrant! Butterflies and bees love their flowers.

I read about " the legend of three sisters" in Bangchik's blog the other day. It's how plants help each other in living harmonically.

My cucumber and Lemongrass seems to be helping each other too! ;-)

Cucumber - towards the ending

My cucumber plants are getting old. Most of the leaves are yellowing and beetles are testing their teeth on their leaves. I sow 4 cucumber seeds and only 2 grow up well. I was given only 2 cucumbers. Enough for a day dish! It was sweet and juicy. Other little cucumbers never really grow big. I do not know the reason. It was rainy season that time .... may be lack of pollination. Anyway i will try again soon!

I have a pot of variegated leave plant. It's green with pink marking. They sit quietly at the car porch. I think it can be a great indoor plant!

Is this dhill plant? I got few stem cutting of this plant from my neighbour but she too do not know the name. They look like brush.....

Little plant with little flower

 This is easy growing plant with pretty little flower! I do not know their name but they are easy growing plant. A great plant for bordering too!

Sawi

I left my Sawi too long that they have started flowering. Their flower looks almost same with mustard green and other leafy vegetables!

Currently my green vegetable bed look very unorganized and empty . Left with old maturing plants. I'm a bit busy lately.... I should start all over again soon!

Cucumber harvest

I harvested 2 cucumbers last week. It's a bit ripen but when i sliced them yesterday it's still good inside! I did very simple dish with my cucumbers to go along with chicken curry!





It's so juicy and yummy!

Cockscomb!

If I'm right, this plant is named Celosia or cockscomb! Some call this flowering plant feathery amaranth! Long ago i found Celosia in Lotusleaf blog! This plant really amaze me and i use to see this plant a lot during childhood! Now i seldom see them around. Another plant of my childhood era i guess!

Finally i saw this plant in nursery! They only left with 1pot. I grab it fast! It does not look so healthy but i don't want to miss it! Let's cross the finger!

Cucumber - almost there?

2 of my cucumbers have reach some size but how to judge if it's time to harvest?

J shape cucumber. Cucumber suppose to be long and straight right?

     

Anybody have tips on how to see if cucumber is about time to be harvested?

It's raining everyday! Heavy down pour really making some my plants look sick!! Too much water.....Pest are making alot of trouble too especially whitefly......I can't do much...let the nature handle them....;-(

One of the guy who is very happy of rain and wish it will rain more and more is FROG!!!! My once aquatic plant pot have become their breeding spot! I can see frogs everywhere...

Lotus seeds!!!!

Kwee Peng (Onenezz) have sent me lotus seeds and Zinnia seeds! It arrived safely in plastic cover with sweet and short letter!

The Zinnia seeds and Lotus seeds! I haven't sow the seeds yet. I'm going thru some information on how to grow lotus!

I can't wait to see my lotus grow!

Cucumbers

My little cucumbers! It look a bit white . Is this normal ?

Can you see the white fly at the bottom of the leaf? I just hate them!
