Visitor in my garden

Finally I manage to snap a photo of butterfly in my garden. I use to see many of them in the garden. Especially at the Hibiscus patch. However I don't have luck capturing them from good angle! This must be my best shoot!

This type of birds are frequent visitor to my garden!

They too love the Hibiscus! I think Hibiscus nectar must have very special sweet taste that the birds and butterflies loves!

Little bird doing some kind of acrobatic movement to get the nectar from Hibiscus flower! It must be so thirsty due to warm weather that it doesn't mind of drinking up side down!! ;)

I believe these creatures are pest. The are many at my indian broad beans patch. Anyone know about them? I think I need to take some action before they do further damage!

Who is visiting your garden today?

Butterfly

To tell the truth, I seldom have the chance to snap butterfly photos! They just move very fast! Last weekend, I saw a lot of butterflies in my garden mainly on my winged beans. May be the flower's nectar is very sweet! I saw few yellow butterflies and this dotted butterflies! It's a joy to see them around even though the caterpillars are not really welcomed in my garden.....

However, I only manage to take this 2 shots...sigh.... It's moving so fast for me take a picture!

Few days back we had a real big visitor to the house! It was a big butterfly or may be moth. I have seen them before but not in my own house!

I tried to chase it away from the house at night before going to bed since i know the lizard love it so much but in vain. Surprisingly it manage to find very good place as hide out from predator!

butterfly/ moth says: no one can see me here....!

Today morning I manage to catch it and release it to my garden successfully! At least i have save it from house lizard! When i came back in the evening from work, i could not see it. May be it have flew away or hiding somewhere. Do you know if it's butterfly / moth?

There are many culture belief surrounding butterfly coming to the house:

1) Indian believe it's a sign that someone close going to pay a visit to your house

2) Japanese believe it's a soul of someone close to you ( dead or alive person soul while that person is sleeping) visiting you

What is your believe?

Last weekend i had many ~ "things to be done" in my mind. I thought of doing weeding, shifting my Zinnia plants, transplant some young seedling and tree and so on. However i have to admit that i never do most of it. I don't know how the 48hrs past by! ...sigh....

I only manage to do some weeding and transplant some young seedling and a tree!

Anyway this Butterfly is new to my garden. Do you know it's name?

Butterfly in my Garden

I saw this beautiful Butterfly in my garden the other day. Is this the outcome of the hairy Caterpillar? It flew away so fast after 1 snap so i couldn't take more shot of it! sigh....

Nevertheless it really add colour to my garden! how i wish to have many butterflies but not caterpillars! ;-))
