Indian Borage

I must have forgotten all about this plant!

They were nowhere to be seen in the garden. Luckily I have one saved in the pot.! How negligence I have been......

It's so beneficial plant to have in the house. The leaves can combat cough and cold effectively!

Indian beans

The Indian broad beans have grow up so well and produce enough beans for my family. I don't have extra but handful for my family meal!

They have make the vegetable patch look in mess but they are welcomed to be this way! 

The do have beautiful flowers.

The red spinach

 

This is my very first time to be successful to harvest red spinach. I sow them directly to the vegetable bed. I don't really have high hope since I never succeed in the past. Most of the seedling will be eaten up by pest or die young.

These shall be on my weekend cooking menu. Popeye love spinach! He become strong after eating a tin of them. I'm not sure if it's red or green spinach! Let me see if I get that strength too! hahhahaa.....

Cempedak and Nangka Tree

Cempedak and Jackfruit Trees are 2 fruit trees that I planted almost 2 years back. They were planted at the same time but grow at different speed. I love to eat both the fruits. They really have very rich taste!

The plant are still consider young but producing some fruits. The fruits drop off after little while. I'm not sure if it's suppose to produce mature fruits by now.

GBBD March 2015

This post shall goes to GBBD for the month of March 2015. I have some lovely bloom in my garden. 

This purple flowers of Duranta Erecta are flowering profusely! They look so lovely on the ground. Previously They were planted in the pot. 

 Another flowers which is in full bloom! Before I realize they have climbed on the mango tree and the flowers hanging all around the mango tree!  They look so awesome!

Tomatoes

I would say this is my 1st successful attempt in growing tomatoes after so long!

This single plant is so vibrant! It produce tomatoes endlessly! I just feel so happy to see this tomato plant!

The tomatoes look so promising! 

Pest in my little garden

Pests are unwanted by all of us. They make a lot of damage and leave us with so much heartache sometimes.

 I have many pest in my garden. From crawling to climbing type.

My cabbages was eaten by the snails. Luckily I found them before much damage done.

Out of anger I throw they out of my garden and they were broken.

caterpillars are frequent visitors to my garden. From big eyes to this spiky type!

Talking about grasshopper, this is called "belalang kunyit" . They are big and good enough to make damage !

Lastly Monkeys but I don't have any pictures of them to share with. They have eaten my pineapple....my sole pineapple that i was waiting to ripe!

curry leave - not well

My curry leave plants have been growing so well until last month.

All of sudden it shows some unwanted sign. I'm not sure what cause it . All the baby plants show the same sign too.

Previously they were attacked by caterpillar. But This small caterpillar comes on and off.... I trim down the plant to remove the pest.

Is is a kind of infection or did I over fertilize and they get burn? I'm not so sure. Anyone out there to guide?
