Birds

Birds are common visitors to my garden. They come early in the morning and leave by evening. Through out the day they find food in my garden. I think there must be a lot of food for them.

I use to see them by Hibiscus plant. May be they are enjoying the sweet nectar of Hibiscus flowers!

This type of birds are common to sighted.

Do you find birds in your garden? Could you identify them?

Cucumber harvest

The cucumber plants are towards the end of it's life. Yet it produce 2 big and 1 small cucumbers as a last harvest for us!

Eating cucumber while the sun is blazing is really awesome! It gives cooling effect to the body. Cucumbers are also used as eye packs. Just close your eyes and put 2 slices of cucumbers on your eyes! It rejuvenates the eyes!

I need to sow the seeds again.

Adenium or dessert rose seeds

I have 2 pots of Adenium plant. One with pink flower and another with blood red flower. Both are equally beautiful when flowering time!

Last week I saw the pink version have developed seed pods. The pods are long and large. It's really amazing to see so large pods from little plants. Usually flowering plants have small pods.

I'm not so sure when this seeds will mature. I read somewhere that we need to let it mature on plant. Once matured, the pods will break open to disperse the seeds. We can collect and plant them. I hope I will be around to catch the seeds! It had produce many pods in past but I never collect any. Hopefully I'm lucky this time around!

If anyone have information on how to collect the seeds , sow and germinate them, please let me know. Lets share the information for other bloggers information too!
